Defence against dark art was one of the most important if not the most important subject which should be taught to the students.
After all, it could be about life and death for the students in the future, and here was Orion getting his lessons from someone like Lockhart.
"Morning students, I am sure that all of you were eagerly waiting for this class but we can't do anything, I have to teach every class, after all, everyone is waiting for their chance to get lessons from me." said a Lockhart with his ugly mutt smile.
Orion looked around and noticed the girls around him admiring Lockharts with dazed eyes.
'I almost forgot that I have to find a way to break this perfume spell of his,' Orion just remembers and again got annoyed.
[Why do you even care about that, let it go it's just 1 year at best, he will be going out one way or another] Merlin asks not getting what exactly was making Orion so annoyed.
'Well true, but I really don't want to see his face all this year if I can help it,' Orion said with clear irritation on his face.
"Hey Orion, what's wrong with others," Rose slowly asked from the side.
Orion saw the cute redhead sitting beside her and sighed. At least Rose is unaffected.
"Yeah them, don't worry about them. I am just glad that you are unaffected," Orion said with much emotion in his tone, like he had seen light in a dark cave.
"Now give attention, it's my job to teach you how to protect yourself from the dark creatures and the dangers of this world." Lockhart attracted their attention and said with mysterious acting.
Orion all this time had a deadpan look on his face, 'I really want to just punch this guy, his character is funny in the movie at least but here his face irritates me, damn that handsome face of his,' Orion muttered to himself.
Lockhart pokes his wand on the case covered with cloth in front of him. And a rumbling reaction came from the case.
[I remember this from the movie, didn't he have a pixie's in that case]
"Yeah, and it doesn't look like this is going to go differently this time around," Orion muttered to himself.
"Those are pixie," someone said and Orion just rolled his eyes.
'Maybe I should get out of here, I really don't want to be here when those little devils come outs,' Orion grumble, he honestly just wanted to go there and kick the blond bastard on the butt but that might let him be expelled so.
"laughing are you, let see if you will still laugh while they are out," Lockhart then opened the case.
Like a swamp, those pesky creatures came out and started to wreak havoc.
[Fun fact, they are pretty old creatures, even surpassing some of the most ancient magical beasts like unicorns] Merlin provided some completely pointless information.
'And how does that help me here,' Orion asks.
[Nothing, just simple knowledge which I remember after seeing the creatures again]
'Knew it, completely random piece of useless information,' Orion snorted.
As the pixie started to hover around the class, students panic grew until all the snotty brats started to run around the place.
"Orion, do something," Daphne hugged his arm while acting like a damsel in distress, she was sitting on the other side of Orion, hijacking that seat from Hermione.
"Yes, do something," Rose too said while acting just like Daphne, in fact, her acting was so fake, that Orion actually saw her looking at how Daphne acted and like a blub went on inside her head, she did the same.
'Well this is what I wanted but their age is not right, can you both come after some time please I'm not interested in Loli's.' Orion signed.
Just then he saw a Pixie hovering near him showing a devilish smile and went for his ink pot.
"No, you don't," Orion was faster, much much faster than anything let alone a pixie and snatched the ink pot before that pixie could take it.
"Uhahah anf awrfhso alknmefidfha reek ayhena," Came out of that pixie mouth after seeing Orion taking away his toy, it almost looked like it was complaining.
"Sorry little guy, but I understood shit from that, why not you leave us alone here and go after that blond bastard there," Orion slowly said to the pixie.
But to Pixie, Orion's words were also similar to gibberish.
"Well anyway, just get out of here alright, shush shush," waving his hand, he tried to make the Pixie run away just for the Pixie to laugh and imitate him.
"UGHH UGHH, hahaha" .
"Alright, you asked for ....," Orion was just about to use force and get the pixie sent flying away but then suddenly he remembered.
[Yes, this is a really good time to check out Law Of Presence. You can just barely do it but it should work on this little guy] Merlin on the side also agree with Orion's idea.
So Orion closed his eyes, it was still new for him and he needed some time to make the shock wave of his powerful presence sent to the Pixie.
"GET OUT," Orion opened his eyes and for others, mainly Rose and Daphne who were sitting beside him, they didn't feel anything but only saw Orion acting like an idiot but for Pixie it was different.
Suddenly pressure enveloping the small creature increased, all his focus was on Orion, even when he didn't want to. The surrounding area went black as Orion's image of a harmless student was no longer there, in his place stood a monarch, a king, a devil.
Pixie's breath hitch as fear starts to engulf him and all its instincts just state one thing, to run away.
But it couldn't, even moving at this point was a Herculean task for the little creature.
[No no, you messed it up. You added killing intent there. Just add pressure. Your presence should be of a predator and not an absolute devil. Otherwise, this will happen to those who can't handle your presence. They won't even be left in the moving state. ] Merlin said pointing out the mistake again.
"Okay Okay, that makes sense," Orion quickly takes out his presence.
"Immobulus," and that was the same time when someone used this spell to stop all the Pixies from wreaking more havoc.
Orion looked around and noticed that this someone was not Hermione like seen in the Movie, the movie version was a little too pretty and badass. In reality, Hermione here is much more like any normal 12-year-old girl. Yeah, she will be a badass later but not so much right now.
No, the person who stopped the Pixies was Nick. And this was the first time when Orion saw the dark magic in action.
'Boy that's powerful, what do you think, how big of a power gap is between us,' Orion asked while looking at Nick using his ordinary wand and showcasing his power and then he observed the Pixie who started to drop like flies.
[A little stronger than a fully grown wizard, that would be level 2 "Intermediate". But if he uses that Wand of his, then it is definitely Level 3 "Advance" while you are still stuck at Level 1 "Beginner"] Merlin replied after thinking.
"Almost to the level of some Professors and he is just 12," Orion muttered slowly pondering over how life can be so unfair.
