Orion stood firm, his hand crackling with the energy of his most powerful spell, aimed directly at Death. This spell was supposed to be the ultimate strike, a magic was crafted to end her dark reign once and for all. He whispered the incantation, feeling the magic surge through him, and released it with everything he had. But to his horror, as the spell struck Death, it seemed to fade away like smoke.
Nothing happened.
Orion's heart pounded as panic began to settle in. He did just like he practiced, no he was sure that the magic was casted, meaning it didn't work on death ? how is that possible he was sure that he wasn't holding back. For a brief moment, he felt his resolve start to crumble, his confidence faltering as doubt and frustration crept into his mind. But then, in that very instant, he noticed something.
It's not like the spell didn't work, unlike earlier when his spells wasn't even touching her, now this time it actually hit her, he could tell by how up until now she wasn't even bothered by him being here, becuase nothing could touch her but now her attention was on him.
The faintest traces of light shimmered around Death, almost imperceptible, but Orion could sense it. His spell had connected, but it wasn't strong enough to completely break through her defenses. He needed more power, but how ? He almost use all of his power there.
Its not easy to use this magic in the first place, takes huge amount of magic. This was the reason why Merlin ended up dying beside only having half of the guardian magic. Lack of sufficient magical capacity. This magic take that much Chaos Energy. So much so that he could only give up his life to fuel it up.
Orion don't believe that Merlin could have more magic then him, better at magic, sure but coudn't be more than him. So how he gonna use this spell now ?
For a few seconds he was almost shocked to do anything at all.
Many things were running inside his mind. Like whether he wasn't as strong as Merlin ? But that wasn't possible, after all he has has there memories. They weren't that strong.
This could only means that Death was stronger right now. This completely took him off guard. This was bad…
But Death had sensed his intent.
Death shot toward him, her figure moving with a speed and fury that took his breath away. Shadows twisted and surged around her, forming deadly tendrils that lashed out at him, forcing him to jump back. Each strike was relentless, unyielding, keeping him from concentrating, from gathering the magic he needed for his spell.
Orion gritted his teeth as he dodged, frustration and urgency building inside him. Death was not letting up. She was determined to keep him on the defensive, her attacks coming faster, forcing him further back with every step.
"Damn it!" he muttered under his breath, that he need to figure out something fast. And the more he thought about, the more he only thought about one thing.
Integration, or to be more exact….
"Internal Integration." This technique which he only use once in his entire life was the only thing which could help him right now.
But this will burn away most of his magic. Gritting his teeth he ponder and kept on dodging.
Just as he was losing his mind, a familiar voice cut through the chaos. "Oi! Thought you had it handled, wizard!"
Orion turned his head and saw Zoro charging toward him, his swords gleaming with black Haki while also a faint blue aura was lingering indicating his spell, his expression one of pure focus. Zoro had dealt with Merlin's zombie and now stood ready to assist him with Death.
A wave of relief washed over Orion.
"Zoro!" Orion called out, his voice filled with urgency. "I need you to keep her off me for just one minute. I need to cast this spell at full power, and I can't do that if she keeps attacking me."
Zoro looked at Death, confuse whether that black shadow was what the wizard calling her ?
She had no figure or physical body for that matter, all she was a black shadow at this point.
He gave Orion a skeptical glance. "One minute, huh? Fine consider this one a payment for that limitless booze cup you promise me."
Orion couldn't help but grin, despite the tension. "Just one minute, Zoro. Keep her busy, and I'll handle the rest."
Zoro rolled his shoulders, gripping his swords tightly. "Fine, fine. But after this, I am going back, you hear me."
With that, Zoro launched himself toward Death, his swords moving in a blur. He swung with precision and power, his attacks aimed at her with unwavering resolve. Death moved to counter him, her dark tendrils morphing into jagged, blade-like extensions that slashed back at him.
Orion only after Zoro attack death realized that normal attack won't work on her, he was about to tell this to Zoro only to see that Zoro's haki was effective against Death.
"The more you know, huh…"
Orion after getting the time he needed calm down, though he didn't wanted to but there was no other option. Its not like he won't be able to use magic or anything just won't have this huge reserves.
'Internal Integration it is…" Orion mutter and then slowly stop his magic from flaring out but rather started to condense his magic inside his body, practically burning his own magic like a sun's supernova. Emitting extreme amount of magic in his body.
Orion's focus grew sharper. He could feel the magic swelling within him, reaching its peak. "Almost there," he whispered, his voice steady.
Death, sensing the growing threat, redoubled her efforts against Zoro. She summoned spears of darkness and hurled them at him, each one aimed with deadly precision. But Zoro spun, his blades deflecting the spears, each clash of metal and magic resonating across the battlefield.
"Just a little longer!" Orion called out.
"Chaos is the source of magic, this world runs by Chaos, Order and the law between them.
Without chaos creation and destruction can't take place.
Without order, there is only chaos…
Law is the Harmony among them.
One who master the Law to its apex, can alter this reality.
Space… Time…Matter.
This three law can change once perception and chance once reality." Orion recalled the essence of magic and all other forces in which this world governs.
He recalled what he learn from Merlin's Memories.
As long as Chaos exist, Magic exist and so will death.
The only way to kill her once and for all is to eradicate all the chaos around her. Not letting her go back to the shadow world using her own load of death.
'There is only one power in this world which can dot hat…'
Bend reality… erase chaos….
Opposite to Chaos." Orion thought and by now all the magic in his body was boiling.
Astonishing amount of magic was rotating around him. The power of this magic was so much that even Rebith of magic for few seconds started to look faint in comparison.
Death of course noticed this change, making her immediately want too take action, however, Zoro stopped her somehow.
Even Zoro was having problem with how she was fighting. even one minute… standing up against her was hard.
And then Orion call out.
"Zoro! Move!"
Zoro leapt back without hesitation, giving Orion a clear line of sight.
'That right, the only way to kill her is to erase all her magic, if magic is chaos then it need a power which can erase magic.
That was the guardian's magic which was passed down all this time.
It wasn't some grand magic capable of destoying planets or something.
Its could only do one things. It could erase magic outright…
That why it needed to bend reality and those one has to master all three major law.
This ancient guardian magic was a Anti-Magic.
Opposite of Maigc.
And that why, they call it….
"HARMONY…"
Orion shouted and then a very pure white light emitted out of him, the moment this light was shone, the space itself started to shake, and then it brought tranquillity.
It was erasing the chaos around and the magic around them.
The light was not harmful at all, infact it was warm and peaceful but not for someone like death whose entire existence now is magic and chaos.
The moment it connected with her, it started to evaporate her.
She screams and sheks in pain. Wanting to run away but the power of this magic was so powerful that it wasn't possible.
As the light of this grand anti-magic passed around, the people to whom it come in contact with lost their magic temporary and those dark army death brought, just like her they also disintegrated into nothingness.
At this time, two girls were sitting at the top of the Hogwarts castle, chatting when they suddenly saw the night sky light up.
"Rose look…" Daphne pointed at the moon, which for few minute light up the entire earth like it was the sun. But the light was warm and pleasant. It was bright enough to be seen all over the word.
A powerful magical fluctuation was passed all over the world…. The scene was very beautiful and magical…
Though only those who were on moon really did saw what cause this light.
Orion right now felt like his body was on fire, he almost burn away all of his magic here… he started to feel dizzy and then suddenly darkness spread all around his eyes.
Before he completely pass out, he only saw one thing…
Death, the darkness was burning away and screaming in pain.
"Thata 1000 years of ass kicking done right." Orion smile and shown his middle finger as he pass out.

"So, attened our parents wedding, save magical world, twice and raise yourself while teaching yourself magic…." Rose asked.
"YUP…"
"And you didn't bother tell us this until there was a fight which was coming for a 1000 years where you defeated death…" Daphne asked.
"Yes…"
"You know what, I can't even say what is real and when you are joking anymore." They just stood there head.
"Haha…yo.. you know what, maybe that how I will explain my own life to you. A joke." Orion laugh, as he was lying on hospital bed in Hogwarts and two girls were interrogated him.
"Yeah yeah… it could be quite a tale if you every bother about sharing it, maybe there will be book about you and someone make a movie about it…" Daphne joked.
"Hahaha… yeah, definately… thought what should I name it."
"I was joking…"
"Yeah, but it a good idea, with my last book done…" Orion said as he look at a completely black book on the side with big words. "Harmony" Written on its cover.
That was the last magical book he was planning to launch.
"Sigh…" Rose just shook her head, there was no changing his mind if he set his mind.
"How about Laugh Tale…"
"Huh… what…?"
"Haha.. nothing nothing. By the way… you two… I had something to asked…"
"Huh ? What…?"
"I was wondering whether you are free to marry me…"

"What…!"
"What, did you just say…"
"MARRY ME, both of you."
"…"
"This…"
"I LOVE BOTH OF YOU, can't choose, really I tried but I can't. So this is the best I can do."
"So…?"
"…"
"You don't wants to…?"
"No…I mean who asked something like this here…?"
"So its a yes ?"
"This… this is not fair, what kind of confession you are, and how greedy you need both of us…"
"I love you both equally…"
"Hmph…
"YES…"
"HUH… Rose what are you saying…"
"Hey, its already a big deal that he is the one asking, I thought I had to confess first."
"Oi, I am not that bad."
"Bad, I thought you are emotionally challenged at this point."
(Bark)
"RED… Come here buddy"
"Well after marriage lets finally take a good vacation."
"Hey I haven't agreed yet…"
"Oh you will. I know, I can see the future…." *Wink…
"Sigh…
Orion smiled seeing both the girls blushing and arguing with himself. He finally felt that tension and pressure which was weighing down on him, loosen.
He was finally done.
[Finally, a happy ending…. Huh. I'll say it again, I'm proud of you…kid]
Orion eyes snap open, as he hears something.
'Or did I hear that ?' Orion thought and then just let it go, it doesn't matter whether that was real at this point.
He just smiled and enjoy the time he had with his love once.
This was the ending he seems to be looking for all along.
Not the strongest or the wizards king.
But a life among the love once…
"HAPPY ENDING INDEED."

Abrupt ending, I know.
But I too realized that though even the story had good plot but I never developed it right. From everyday grammar mistakes to just writting errors, I should have done better.
And thus I intent to stop this fic while it's still somewhat good.
From now on I intent to write while not solely focusing on fighting and story. Other things like Romance, Character Development, Story from others prospective and so much more.
I intent to make my upcoming next stories even better.
