Transformed beasts were known to understand human language and it was easy to pitch them against each other but were the beasts inside the world of the capsule also subjected to this? She actually did not know since something like this had never happened before.
As for the self-harming spell, the red-haired woman could only advise Vee to never use it in the real world because it was similar to a self-destruction command of robots.
"Ok, I won't," Vee nodded sheepishly.
A sigh escaped the mouth of the red-haired woman as she stared at Vee for a few more seconds.
"I forgot I haven't introduced myself yet," she said as she took the file and began to write on it "I'm Annie Walter, you can address me as …The Red Tyrant" She raised her head and smiled brightly, her smile was so charming but Vee could not help but frown slightly.
Annie was a beauty without a doubt, why would she call herself the red tyrant?
"Alright, that's all. I'll get someone to compile your test scores and your hunter identity will be ready soon. You can wait for it or come pick it up tomorrow" Annie said as she walked towards the door, Vee followed behind her.
"I'll come get it tomorrow," Vee said as he followed her out of the testing room, a bit reluctant.
He hesitated for a few seconds before finally saying "The testing room…"
"Getting addicted, right? Don't worry, you'll be able to use it in the future as long as you become a hunter here" Annie cut him off and said without turning back.
Vee only replied with an "ohh" before turning silent.
The duo returned to Annie's office after which Annie called in the baldie with her device and got him to escort Vee down to the bottom floor. After the two left, Annie's face turned serious as she stared at the data written on the file.
"I won't believe these were correct if I didn't write them myself" she mumbled softly before taking out another file and began writing on it.
…..
Vee returned to the hall with the help of the baldie, he saw that the people hall had not reduced even a bit despite that it was already getting late. He shrugged and made his way to the glass door that led outside, someone suddenly called out to him from behind.
Although the caller did not call his name, Vee knew that he was the one she was calling because the voice belonged to the receptionist lady in a white blouse.
Vee stopped and turned to look at her, he saw her walking toward him calmly while carrying a shoulder bag. Vee raised an eyebrow when he saw her smiling as she walked over.
"I thought you said you would be off by 5?" Was the first thing that Vee asked the moment the woman walked up to him.
"Does it really matter? I got to finish early today, come on" the lady giggled softly as she pulled on Vee's hand while heading for the door.
Some people turned to look at the duo with suspicious and confused eyes, especially after seeing the lady's bashful smile. Even the two guards at the door could not help staring after the two came out.
" So he had someone in the guild already?"
" Good thing he didn't take what we did seriously, we might have lost our job"
The two said to each other as they watched Vee and the receptionist lady walk off.
" Hey, where are we going?" Vee asked all of a sudden. They had been walking for a few minutes now and this lady did not even bother to let go of his hand, making them look like a couple. He could sense a lot of jealous glares from every female they had walked by.
The lady turned and gestured to him with a finger on her lips before winking mischievously.
"We're almost there" was all she said and continued pulling him.
Vee stared at her speechlessly, he shook his head and let himself get pulled around by the lady.
They walked for a few more minutes before coming to a stop in front of a huge building which turned out to be a shopping mall, Vee stared wordlessly at the lady who was smiling at him with sparkling eyes.
"Let's go in" she voiced out and pulled Vee inside.
...
Back in the academy.
Alex sat on his bed with his legs crossed, his face looked peaceful as if he was asleep but he wasn't.
Currently, a part of Alex's consciousness was looking at the progress inside his body. After absorbing enough mana till he felt full, Alex decided to try forming his stars.
He had no idea how much time had passed but he had realized that forming stars was not as easy as he had thought but he did not give up.
Using his consciousness as a pair of invisible hands, Alex willed it and began to form the mana inside his soul into the shape of the star. He would gather the mana and begin to compress them together, so long had passed but he had only managed to form the outlet of his second star.
"I barely managed to stop the first star from falling apart the third time, are the others also facing the same situation?"
Alex thought to himself as he imagined Vee, Gustavo, and the rest trying to make their stars like he was.
"If forming stars is this hard, how long will it take for me to make all the stars for my two elements? The first ranking test is in three months, I can't get behind others!" Alex thought of the resources those in the ranking could get and how everyone back in his village had placed their hopes on him.
As if getting possessed, the speed at which he compressed his mana into a star suddenly increased. Though the change was small, it still made Alex smile because it would reduce the time he needed to form a star by at least a few seconds if not a minute.
