....
Later that night, Jasmine got dressed in one of her new dresses and she looked so pretty. Kiara helped her out with her make over and she was really good with that. Jasmine's face looked so different and one could hardly recognize her from afar, until they take a step forward.
While Jasmine was putting on her bracelets on her wrist, her mother interrupted her by her entrance into Jasmine's bedroom. She wondered where Jasmine was going to tonight, all dressed up in a hot and sexy attire.
"Kiara, what's your sister up to?". Mrs Caddel asked her.
"She's going on a dinner night." Kiara opened up.
"You're finally going on a date for the first time. I really hope that this time, you'll be coming back home with your groom to be." Mrs Caddel said.
"He is just a friend mum." Jasmine said to her.
Mrs Caddel frowned her face, not happy with the news at all. She wasn't happy that even at Jasmine's mid thirties, she haven't been in a relationship before. Mrs Caddel has always wanted to see her second daughter get married just like her older sister that already had her own family of three. She wanted another grand child, because she only had one grandson from Margaux.
"How long do you plan on being a spinster?". Mrs Caddel questioned her.
"Until I find the right man mum." Jasmine assured her.
"You're nothing different from Theodore. He also doesn't want to experience the beauty of love just like you." Mrs Caddel said to her disappointedly.
She left Jasmine's bed room, while Jasmine looked at the ground with a gloomy face. Kiara obviously didn't want her to look sad on a special night like this. She decided to lighten up Jasmine's mood.
"Don't listen to mum. She just wants more grand children. Don't rush into any relationship just because our mother wants to see you married some day." Kiara advised her.
"I obviously understood mum. It's really not easy for her too. One day I'll make her wish come true." Jasmine said with a smile.
Jasmine looked at the gold wrist watch on her left wrist and realized that she was running late. She quickly stood up from her bed, leaving her bedroom immediately. Kiara followed her behind, while they headed outside of the building.
A black limousine vehicle was parked at a corner of the compound. I and Kiara exchanged glances with each other, wondering who parked the vehicle at our home.
A chaffeur approached us, while we both looked at him strangely. I suspected that he must be the one that parked the vehicle but I was confused.
"Are you the owner of that car?". I asked him, pointing my finger towards the direction of the car."
"Mr Liam sent me to drive you to the location of the hotel garden." The chaffeur said to her.
Jasmine was really surprised by Liam's courtesy. Kiara winked at her, while Jasmine let out a half smile. She embraced Kiara, before entering into the car. The chaffeur also got in, driving off immediately. Kiara stood there, waving at Jasmine even as the car drove off. She was really praying in her heart, that the dinner night should become Jasmine's happiest night of her entire life.
........
**Ten minutes later**
The chaffeur arrived at the location not less than ten minutes. Jasmine adjusted her dress, grabbing the knob of the car, about to open the door for herself. Before she could twist it, the door was already opened ajar for her. She brought out her head with a shocked face, trying to take a glimpse of the person that helped her with the door.
It was Liam. He was dressed in an Italian suit and pants. His shoes were screaming expensive. He brought forth his hand towards Jasmine, requesting to help her out come out of the car.
Jasmine blinked her eyes twice in confusion, placing her hand on his and bringing out her legs outside the car. She came out of the car, pulling out her hand from Liam's immediately.
"Thank you." She thanked him with a low voice, while Liam smiled at her.
He led the way, since she didn't know the exact place their table was located at tonight. Jasmine felt a bit uncomfortable with everything and she was obviously shy tonight. She couldn't leave the hem of her dress alone.
"Here's our table." Liam said to her, after getting to their destination.
"Thank you. The decorations are nice." Jasmine commended the decorations at the garden, grabbing a chair for herself.
Liam sat on another chair, facing Jasmine. He kept looking at her face, admiring her. Jasmine obviously saw him staring at her, whenever she wasn't looking. She had to ask him what the occasion was about, because she was very uncomfortable tonight.
"Liam why did you call me here?". Jasmine asked him curiously.
"A.. Actually, uhm..." Liam stuttered with his words, ending up being speechless.
Jasmine squinted her eyes, looking at Liam suspiciously. He obviously was up to something. He was still trying to say something, when some group of persons approached their table, holding some gifts, a cake and some card sheets that had some love confessions on them.
"Will you be my girlfriend?". She read out one of the write ups in one of the card sheets someone among the crew was holding.
She chuckled, turning her gaze on Liam. Liam smiled at her strangely, bringing out a box from the pocket of his pants. Jasmine gulped down a bottle of water that was on the table.
"Yeah, you read that right. I fell in love with you few weeks after we started bonding here at Gosglow. You're my priority now, and I can't stop thinking about you." Liam confessed his feelings to her.
Jasmine was shocked to hear all of that. She didn't realize when a tear dropped down from her eye. It's been years she has heard such soothing words. She have never been in a defined relationship and also haven't fallen in love with any man before.
She looked into Liam's eyes, blinking her eye lids slowly.
Liam opened the small box, containing a ring. He grabbed her right hand, while she looked at the ring on his hand.
"This ring is my symbol of my love for you. Be my girlfriend and let this ring be a significance of my love for you." Liam spoke further.
Jasmine nodded her head continually with a smile, while Liam fixed the ring into her finger. She couldn't control her tears at all. She stood up from her chair, walking up to Liam's chair for a hug. She pulled him up to his feet, hugging him tightly.
"I love you too Liam. I also didn't know how to tell you about it." She whisphered into his ear.
Liam pulled himself out of her clenches, grabbing her hands. They were facing each other now. Jasmine was so shy and couldn't even look into his eyes.
"Does that mean that you've accepted to be in a relationship with me?". Liam asked her with a smile.
"Yes I've. Sadly, I have never had any serious date in the past. They were all liars that just wanted to be with me for my money." Jasmine said, wearing a sad face.
"I'm different Jasmine. I only need you in my life and nothing else." Liam said to her.
She nodded her head with a smile. Both of them returned back to their seats, feasting on the different varieties of meals on the table. She was glad that she cancelled the movie night with her friends, and got herself the happiest night of her life.
It was obvious that she fell in love with Liam first, but waited for him to reciprocate back. She has been hiding those feelings from him and from everyone, even when her friends tried telling her that she was in love, she denied it countlessly.
"Can we have our first official date as a couple tomorrow then?". Liam asked her.
"Yes. Whatever that is good for you, is the same for me." Jasmine said to him with a smile.
After an hour late, both of them got into the limousine, while the chaffeur drove them to their different locations. Jasmine was dropped off first and she waved at Liam, already missing his presence. She couldn't stop staring at the promise ring on her finger. As long as it was on her finger, it made her feel that Liam was with her, even in his absence.
