Asura and the other left the queen's chambers shortly after Valerie got involved. Unlike her calm daughter, she clung to his arm as if he might escape, while Xavida took his opposite arm and competed with her.
"I want to help repair the castle..." Asura said while walking along the beautiful corridor. He looked through the window towards the eastern tower, now in ruins—the tower was only metres from the former cathedral where he married Vela only yesterday.
"Eh? Don't you want to go grab a delightful meal with me, darling?" Valerie asked in a sweet voice.
"Nn, that sounds nice, but the kingdom is in shambles while the castle looks like this."
"I will help you, my love." Verana gave a soft smile while winking at Mu Xue, who seemed to become spurred by Verana's interest.
