It wasn't particularly late but the two found themselves lazing around, gravitating towards Luca's bedroom and deciding that they would watch a movie from his large bed. There was a projector near the abstract art above his bed and a screen that unrolled from the ceiling across the room.
"Could I shower first?" Sophia asked. "It was a long day and I have a feeling I might fall asleep."
Sophia was guilty of being someone who fell asleep during movies. Considering Luca's bed was the most comfortable she had ever been in, the trend would likely continue.
Before Sophia could turn to go into Luca's bathroom, Luca grabbed her hand and pulled her close to him again. He cradled her face in one of his hands and pressed a kiss to her lips.
"Hurry back," he uttered.
Their kiss outside by the firestone was still fresh in his thoughts. He wanted her but he didn't want to scare her away.
