Chapter 77 - Please Stay

The evening was growing late but Sophia felt like she was finally getting to know who Luca truly was. His intense appearance had forced her initial opinion of him, but the longer she spent around him, she realized he was a sweet man underneath the muscles. 

She wondered what made likely the richest man she had ever met such a kind soul. It didn't really make sense to her. She always thought men in finance were all jerks. 

He led her to his large kitchen where they were met with exposed black beams along the tall white ceiling. The rest of the kitchen was covered in stainless steel or wood. In the middle was a long island that looked to be cement and it was plainly but particularly decorated. 

Since it was on the other corner of the penthouse, it also had its own unbelievable view of the city as dusk rolled in and the city lights were left.
