The opulence of the place Luca called home was almost too much for Sophia to bear.
The colors were very neutral mixed with industrial blacks and metals and it looked a little bit unused and impersonal. Otherwise, she was amazed at every turn. She couldn't imagine living somewhere like that. It wouldn't feel right to take up so much space.
The first thing Sophia did after removing her shoes and putting on the slippers offered to her was rush to the window.
Her hands and face hovered near the glass, not wanting to mark it up considering there wasn't a speck of dust or anything out of place in the penthouse.
"This view is unbelievable," Sophia uttered. "I've lived here my whole life and I've never seen it before."
Admittedly, Grant lived in a high rise as well but his was further from the center of the city and quite a few floors lower. It was a nice place but there was nothing like a penthouse.
