Ethan looked down, horrified as he heard her scream then saw her disappear under the blue water. It was pure enough that he could see her even when she was underneath it.
Rachel resurfaced with a gasp of air and she looked up at the cliff as she waded water.
"I thought you said you weren't a coward!" she shouted. "It can't be more than 40 feet and the water is deep."
Rachel turned so she was floating on her back and she did a backward stroke until she was against the slippery rocks.
Knowing there was no backing out, Ethan let out a light sigh and shook out his body before he approached the edge.
He hadn't gone cliff diving since he was a teenager, but his competitive nature wasn't going to let him go over the edge without giving the woman at the bottom a slight show.
The omega turned around and started backing up until his heels were over the edge.
"You're not!" Rachel cried out as she watched Ethan.
