The "Don't Ask" policy was a clause introduced nearly 30 years before for omega and alpha employees of Falcone Investments and Holdings.
This policy made it so alphas and omegas had 20 business days a year when they could take off work without question. It was reserved for ruts and heats.
Since it was the beginning of the year, Rachel was able to still be paid while the policy covered her absence. Sophia took over her work and her absence could not be questioned.
Considering Falcone Investments and Holdings was one of the first and few companies with the protection of alphas and omegas being in its very core, it was an ideal place for many who fit into those categories. Most children of omegas and alphas were pushed towards finance or business because of this reason.
