The moment Luca sat down across from Sophia, she knew that there was unnecessary attention on them.
In the couple of weeks since Sophia had been working there, she noticed he rarely ever mixed with common workers. When she asked about it he explained that people tried to associate with him to get something. He preferred to avoid those situations altogether.
Even if he was doing something as normal as eating lunch or talking to another person, there were always eyes on him because of it.
The attention on him was no different as he sat across from someone who was supposed to only be one of his assistants. Because it was Sophia, his expression wasn't trained in any particular way. He wanted her to know that he was concerned for her well-being.
