Zyair's journey towards the airport was the most torturous journey of his life. He tried to contact Skyla but it kept ringing without anyone answering.
He tried to login into his account to access the video footage of his house but met with static. The internet services were down throughout and he couldn't access it.
He tried Lawrence and Rais and they told him the situation was grim and he needed to get home as quickly.
"Come straight to Meena Mansion. I am there with Mrs Kincaid. Huria and Rais are elsewhere occupied. We will explain everything," Lawrence had told him in a deadly serious tone. Any kind of teasing or humour that usually existed in his voice was missing.
It made Zyair even more restless, the thoughts of Skyla's innocent face churned again and again in his brain. It left him wondering what possibly must have gone wrong.
