Huria's words made sense to Skyla. She had promised herself she won't be afraid of him anymore. But suddenly seeing him after such a long time didn't prepare her for it in the slightest.
Skyla scoffed at him but didn't look away, although her heart was going frantic she tried to remain calm. No way she wanted him to have a feeling that she still felt intimidated by him. Huria casually stuck up a conversation with Skyla to keep her distracted.
"He just wants to see you suffer, don't give him a minute of your time. Tell me what kind of ring you want to buy for Zyair?"
Huria was furious inside her heart at the audacity of this man to have them followed. They had been so engrossed in their conversation that she hadn't realised someone was tailing them.
Skyla finally peeled her annoyed eyes off her ex-husband whose predatory gaze didn't falter from her even for a nano second.
