Sylvia was waiting for Skyla in her office. Both women settled down and Sylvia could sense the nervousness exuding from Skyla.
"Miss Skyla, firstly you need to relax. I know this is all very difficult for a woman to experience. But freedom is in our grasp so stay steadfast and take a few deep breaths."
Skyla did as she was told with a faint smile. Seeing Skyla was slightly at ease Sylvia continued.
"I am on your side and whatever you will tell me, remains between the two of us. No one outside us will know. It's lawyer-client confidentiality. Tell me everything so we can start preparing the case."
Sylvia took off her work glasses and neatly placed them on the table. Clasping her perfectly manicured hands on the polished desk, she focused all her attention on the girl with red hair and her story.
Skyla cleared her throat and collected her thoughts before nodding and beginning.
