On her way to work Skyla received a text from Huria. Skyla had texted her earlier, asking if they could meet. She wanted to surprise her with gifts she had brought along from the Comic-Con.
[Hey! Sky, guess what? My boss and I are coming over today for that collaboration we spoke about. Can't wait to meet you.]
Her friend's message spread a smile on Skyla's face as she typed her reply.
[Awesome. I have a surprise for you. Will be waiting.] She hit the send as the cab came to a halt outside Kincaid International.
She headed inside and found Lawrence in the lobby waiting for her. He urgently moved towards her and dramatically sighed.
"One more minute and my head would have exploded from another phone call from our impatient boss. He is expecting you." Lawrence rolled his eyes and Skyla wondered if she was late. Checking the time she found she was still ten minutes early.
