Chapter 51: The Phantom World (21)
Benjamin bit his lips and crumpled into a fighting stance.
He tensed his muscles before throwing a palm strike at the avalanche of purple flames, striking at their midpoint. For a few seconds, he found himself surrounded in flames, with his life on the line.
His palm burned and hurt, and some of his skin had already been peeled off. He shouted, adding another reserve of strength and stamina from the talismans on his muscles shining like tattoos of dragons sealed in his flesh.
BANG!
The flames dispersed under his heavy strength, leaving him alone on the pillar.
As he heaved a breath of relief, Benjamin turned his palm around and looked at it, his eyes narrowing as he hadn't expected this much wound left on him. If he were to ball his right hand into a punch, he would lose lots of blood and only hurt himself more in the process.
Likewise, the right punch was currently out of the game.
