"It's good to see you again, Lady Xin Yan, Young Master Long!" Seeing Gu Jin bowing to them, Noah and Xin Yan nodded back as a sign of greeting.
"It has been a while, Gu Jin. Where is everyone?" While Xin Yan remained indifferent to his greeting, Noah replied with a smile.
Gu Jin was caught by surprise; he did not expect a reply from both of them at all. Besides the city lord and his wife, he was the only other person who knew how strong the people before him were.

Gu Jin started respecting Noah even more as he looked at the boy in astonishment. Snapping out of his daze, he replied, "Please follow me inside, and I will fill you in on what happened here."
With an eager smile on his face, Gu Jin led them through the hallway to the same room where Mingli had led Noah before.
As the two of them sat on the sofa, maids came forward and poured them tea.
