Due to the Great Wizard War that ravaged the lands for several years, countless children were left orphaned. While some of these children had someone to depend on, others scraped by with whatever meager resources they could find. However, for many, the situation was dire.
These were the children whose immediate families were their only guardians, or whose relatives were either unable or unwilling to take them in. Left without support, many found themselves struggling for survival in the streets, vulnerable and exposed to the harsh realities of a world still reeling from war.
