The most normal reply to Benjamin's seemingly foolish rambling would have been a question like this or an indifferent acknowledgment.
However, the teenage girl behind the counter, as if there were some hidden meaning to Benjamin's words that she had picked up, bowed and respectfully said, "Please follow me."
