The gods lived and operated separately, but the presence of the Dark One demanded unity, so they came together, to discuss what should be done about the Dark One" the Pope explained. "During the First Conference of Gods, the words of the Mother of Fate, that the Gods had once dismissed as a bad joke, echoed in their minds as a prophecy nearing fulfillment. Acknowledging the imminent threat the dark one posed—not just to the mortal realm but to their very existence—the gods assembled, determined to put an end to the dark one's tyranny."
"Despite their overwhelming advantage in numbers, the battle against the dark one was anything but easy," the Pope narrated the ending of the heydays of the Era of Gods to Valerius.
