The sun was setting, I was way past the promised time, and I knew I wouldn't be able to come home until the moon was already up in the sky.
The only good thing was that the return to Nirvana would be easier as the perception skill actually allowed me to see the red line toward the gate.
But anyway, I had finally reached the center of the forest, and it was a beautiful sight.
There was a large lake, surrounded by trees and flowers, there was a bridge in the middle of that lake leading to a stone monument.
It was peaceful, and I could understand why this place was considered a sacred area for the elves, as they believed it to be their god's resting place.
I didn't waste any time though, and walked towards the lake, looking around for anything that might seem suspicious, but I couldn't find anything, so I decided to step forward and traverse the bridge.
