Meanwhile, while Kaine was talking with Edna, Sera was sitting on the couch in her dorm, waiting for him to come back from his classes.
She was looking through her phone and reading the news about her father's death, she had been doing that since she woke up, and now it was 4pm, yet Kaine hadn't arrived.
"Where is he...?" she wondered, "did he forget about me?"
She immediately shook her head, she knew that wasn't true, after all, Kaine was the only person who cared about her, he was her savior, her guardian angel.
"He will come..." she mumbled and turned the TV on, trying to distract herself from her worries.
And as if on cue, Kaine opened the door and entered the dorm, "hey Sera, sorry for being late, I was held up by someone."
"It's okay, I know you didn't mean to..." she replied and ran towards him, hugging him tightly, "I missed you..."
