"Please don't leave, I'm sorry..." Sera apologized as she held onto Kaine's arm, she didn't know why she did that, but deep in her heart she felt like he was the only one who could help her right now.
Even though he was rude and insensitive, it was exactly what she needed, she couldn't stand pity nor people telling her that everything will be alright, she wanted to vent, and Kaine gave her the opportunity to do so.
It felt like if he ever left that dorm, she would lose her mind because of the sadness and loneliness, her father had already passed away, her mother had left this world when she was still a child, and her "friends" didn't bother to even check up on her as they thought that she would prefer to stay alone to think about the future, the only person that had the tact and courage to check on her was this average looking half-stranger she only talked to around 3 times since he enrolled in this academy.
