Once inside, I sat down on my bed and sighed, I really was tired after using all that anger meter to enhance myself, it was a hard fight, but I somehow managed to win and get back here without showing any signs of exhaustion to the others, now there was no way I could get suspected, meaning that I could relax.
"Do you need anything Kaine?" Clara and the others asked worriedly, "do you want me to bring you food or something else?"
"No no, I'm fine, I'll just sleep here for a bit" I answered, and she nodded before going back to the living room.
I laid down on the bed and closed my eyes, I wanted to think about everything that happened today, but I was too exhausted to do so, and thus I fell asleep, it was the perfect excuse to regain the energy I had lost when fighting the corruption.
