I waited patiently for an opportunity to attack, but unfortunately none came.
The man was sitting on a rock, constantly looking around to see if anybody was coming, he had his hand on Paula's neck, ready to kill her at any moment, it seems like he still had the thought of me possibly coming here to find them.
"What should I do...?" I thought deeply about the situation, but nothing came to mind, "maybe I should just try and use my axe? But what if he kills her before it reaches him?"
"Ugh..." I scratched my head and groaned, "why is it so difficult?!"
Daemon had started fighting the man as soon as he captured Paula, and he could keep up with him through it all, so such a situation never happened in the original novel, the protagonist right now probably doesn't even acknowledge the beastmen girl's existence as far as I know.
