I continued my journey through the forest, trying to meet some of those "rare" monsters Mr.William talked about, yet the eerie silence was the only thing that greeted me as there was no other sound, even the wind felt silent, almost as if it didn't want to show itself and make this place even more creepy.
I knew I wouldn't be able to find anything interesting in the outer parts of the forest, so I decided to walk deeper into it, hoping to find something, monsters after all would usually be in the middle, the only exception being some lone ones, or when they organized monster attacks in groups, which usually ended in all of them being annihilated by the elf guard.
Eventually, I arrived at a clearing and saw that there were multiple corpses of bears lying around, they looked like they had been brutally killed as their limbs were scattered around the place.
