"No, I don't believe in those things called vampires... or do I?" At night, I was wondering as I heard a creepy voice I couldn't even describe! The dogs were howling, "Houuuuuuu! Houuuu!" I was amazed and terrified by the sound.
"Wosh, I guess Liona is a vampire herself. Stay away from her," someone whispered.
"What????"
On the night of November 1st, my weird life began. The cold blood-chilling sounds of my friends' voices kept echoing in my ears, saying I might be related to vampires. I was sleeping, wondering about it, when lightning struck somewhere nearby.
"Ahhh! My bad luck, such a loud strike!" I muttered to myself.Â
"Oof, my throat is thirsty," I thought as I went downstairs to get a glass of water. While drinking, I heard the creepy noise again, dogs howling. I was scared, so I drank the water quickly and ran back to my room, shutting the door behind me. Then I saw a shadow from my window. Peeking through, I found my neighbor doing something creepy. Terrified, I hid under my bed and fell asleep, too scared to move.Â
The very next day, "Oof, finally morning," I sighed. I went down to eat breakfast and headed to school.Â
"Hey Liona!" someone called out.
"Yes!" I replied.
"Do you know that yesterday, vampires were seen? People are saying the era of vampires is here," they whispered.
"What???" I exclaimed. "No, I don't believe in those things called vampires," I said with a nervous laugh.
"Students, today's school will end at 10 PM because of the program being conducted," the teacher announced.Â
We all agreed with what the teacher said. Around 7 PM, the moon appeared, and it was a full moon. I was excited to see the moon, so my friends and I went to the rooftop. I didn't know why, but my skin started to burn while looking at the moon. I pretended like nothing was happening, but slowly, my teeth felt sharp.Â
"Oh, look at her! It's scary, her skin color is changing," someone pointed out.
"No, no, no!" I told myself. "Wosh, I guess Liona is the vampire!" someone muttered.
Me? A vampire? I ran from school, my stomach felt thirsty. Somehow, I managed to reach my house and told my parents.
"Honey, we guess it's time to tell her the truth," my mom said.
"Yes, I guess it's time," my dad agreed.
"Honey, we are from an unknown world," my mom said with a heavy heart.
"Huh?" I was confused.
"An unknown world, Mom?"
"We are vampires, honey!" my mom confessed.
"Nooooooooooooo! No, Mom!" I screamed and ran to my room. I was so hungry, I went outside without a second thought and bit a human.
"Oh, oh, sorry!" I stammered. The human was infected. I was freaking out, so I ran from the place and saw... vampires! They all had sharp teeth. To make sure I was in reality, I bit my own hand. It hurt, but it confirmed everything was real.Â
I rushed home, realizing I was not human anymore. I ran and ran, and when I reached my house, I saw... "Oh my gosh!" I saw a lot of me, my twins spinning around me. Everywhere I turned, I saw two more of me. I was sure I hadn't drunk anything. Then I saw a human from my window. Something inside me snapped, and I flew there, yes, I flew there, and bit the human non-stop. He was bleeding!
The human screamed, a blood-curdling sound. "I am sorry," I said with an evil face.
I flew home and came to my senses about what I did. "Oh no, no, no," I whispered.Â
In the morning, "Noooooo!" I screamed.Â
In the newspaper, it was reported...
