Black Rose held Shan Tian's hand and the two walked out of the chamber hand in hand.
"Queen... tell me more about what this organization is about", Black Rose said.
"This organization, Widow was formed by me five years ago. We are an assassin group filled with only males. I used to be the only female but now that has changed. Also...", Shan Tian explained into details about the group.
Black Rose realized throughout their conversation, Queen had never mentioned anything about herself except for her real name.
She decided not to ask about it since it seemed Queen was intentionally avoided the topic.
"So... when am I going to start training?", Black Rose stopped in her tracks and asked.
"You want to... be an assassin?", Shan Tian also stopped, she was surprised.
"Hmm I'm interested. It seems like something interesting. I can't just stay here and freeload without being of any use. Moreover I have nowhere to go, it's better to be part of you guys", Black Rose lifted her head and looked up at the blue sky.
"Are... are you sure?", Shan Tian felt like she had not heard her right, she wanted to clarify once more.
"Yes, I'm certain. I'm in for it, I don't want to be just a weak little girl anymore.", Black Rose spoke with a serious expression.
"If you say so then let me... officially welcome you to Widow...", Shan Tian smiled.
"I hope we get along well...Queen.", Black Rose extended her hand for a handshake.
Shan Tian showed Black Rose around the whole place and introduced her to everyone they met.
A few people gathered around to gossip.
"Gosh, that lady with Queen is really beautiful", one person exclaimed.
"She's not just beautiful. She's way too beautiful to be real."
"But Queen said she's one of us. Isn't Widow supposed to be of only males? Since when did we have a female assassin?"
"What was her name? Ummm... Black Rose! It sounds..."
"Deadly! Never heard of a black rose. Anyone else heard of it?"
"No. Anyways, that girl seemed so weak, she looks nothing like an assassin"
"Seems like you guys are having quite some fun, can I join you?", Flowerless Nie played with the small dagger in his hand.
Everyone could sense the warning in his voice and they immediately stood up.
"No, Flowerless Nie, we were just done and about to leave. See you later"
The assassis fled away with their tails between their legs.
Flowerless Nie chuckled, "Too bad, no one wants to have fun with me"
He turned around and walked away with a smile at the corner of his lips.
Shan Tian gave Black Rose a new set of clothes.
"Prepare yourself both mentally and physically, you'll start an intense training tomorrow", said Shan Tian.
"So, this is my room?", Black Rose asked once more.
"Yes. I hope you love it"
Black Rose smiled, how could she say she didn't love it? This place was way bigger and nicer than even her father's room.
"I'm stepping out. You can rest for now, I'll have someone call you over when it's time for dinner", Shan Tian pulled open the huge wooden door and walked out. This time, she didn't lock it because she trusted Black Rose.
Black Rose sat on the huge bed which was made out of cotton. It was so soft and comfortable.
Black Rose had never seen or heard of such a bed. Perhaps, even the Han family might have never heard of it.
Black Rose closed her eyes, it was time to forget about the Han family for now. She had to focus on the present, she had to grow stronger and powerful. Only then, would she remember Han Jin and the Han family. Only then would she go back and take her revenge.
Han Jin lied down and closed her eyes, after a while she fell asleep.
Shan Tian went to meet Flowerless Nie, the two stood under an oak tree.
Shan Tian caught sight of the mark on his neck.
"Where's the third princess?", Shan Tian asked.
"You only remember now. She's in one of the clean dungeons", Flowerless Nie replied, his voice filled with absolute respect.
"Hmm... I'll go see her later. Take good care of her. Have you sent the message to the... emperor?", Shan Tian clenched her fists when she said the last word.
"Hmm I sent it. He should have received it by now", Flowerless Nie smiled maliciously.
Shan Tian caught sight of it but ignored it. She guessed he must have done something else.
Lu Tiangming finally opened his eyes and looked around.
Du Wenqiu who was filled with worry rushed to his side upon seeing that he had opened his eyes.
"Your highness...", Du Wenqiu knelt on the floor.
"Where's little Peach?", Lu Tiangming asked absentmindedly.
