Elijah's world spun as he was pinned to the wall, watching a beautiful woman walk ahead of him. Time seemed to slow down. He saw the nervous Kai and Julia's worried eyes behind her mask.
"What should I do, Alter?" Elijah asked, thinking about his next move. "Should I use it?"
"No, don't. Your injuries are too severe, and the backlash could be fatal. She's not trying to kill you. There's a lesson here," Alter Elijah advised as everything turned white, transporting them elsewhere.
Alter Elijah 2, with his black hair and abyssal eyes, appeared like Elijah's twin. "Maybe you're right," Elijah agreed. "I'll focus on using my Yin Chi. You handle the lightning Chi for now."
"Agreed. Learn from this fight," Alter Elijah 2 directed as the white void faded.
"That was the plan," Elijah murmured, closing his eyes briefly. The scene shifted back to the cheering crowd and the approaching woman. Elijah stumbled, coughing up blood as he stood up. "That was an attack," he noted, wiping the blood away.
Dark energy surged from his heart, showing Elijah's unique power. Unlike most, Elijah could use Yang and six elements, but his Yang energy suppressed the other elements, making them almost impossible to use.
However, with his Lotus technique, he could separate his different elements without much difficulty. Without this technique, he would only be able to use his Yang Chi.
Alter Elijah's advice echoed in his mind: "Absorb the Yin Chi and purify it into Yang Chi." Handling Yin energy was risky, threatening to turn him into a mindless beast.
Despite the danger, Elijah felt a mysterious confidence. He decided to take the risk, his hair darkening and his aura turning dark. Yin energy surrounded him, with a lotus forming behind him with a single leaf.
Yin energy had limitations. One was that he couldn't separate his elements like with Yang Chi, but he could still use his elements divided, though the problem lay in adapting to them. Elijah found that the more his body hadn't adapted to that Elemental Chi, the more damage it did to his body.
With little time left, Elijah smirked. "Let's make this quick," he said. The woman smirked back and unleashed a powerful gust of wind from her staff.
BOOM!
The crowd cheered, thinking the Sky Warrior was defeated. But the woman looked behind her, where Elijah stood, his hand covered in black Chi. "Space breaker," he whispered.
Space twisted, catching the woman off guard. She dodged quickly, showing her worry. As space contorted around them, Elijah realized his mistake and leaped away. "Damn, I messed up."
BBBOOOOOMMMM
The ground shook as a massive shockwave rippled through the arena. Elijah landed hard but quickly rolled to his feet. The woman, now slightly disheveled, readied her staff again.
Elijah steadied himself, feeling the Yin energy coursing through him. He heard the woman say, "Are you crazy trying to do that without any control over your own element?"
"Hahaha, I didn't know that would happen," Elijah replied, scratching his head nervously.
"You are dead," she snapped, pissed off that this kid almost injured her.
Elijah focused on the woman, his eyes narrowing. She charged forward, her staff glowing green as waves of wind followed. Elijah countered with a swift punch, his fist crackling with Space Chi. Their attacks collided, sending sparks flying.
She spun around, aiming a kick at his head. Elijah ducked, feeling the rush of air as her foot missed by inches. He retaliated with a low sweep, trying to knock her off balance, but she leaped gracefully into the air, avoiding his leg.
As she landed, she thrust her staff forward, releasing a barrage of wind blasts. Elijah dodged by teleporting, each blast narrowly missing him.
"Impressive," the woman said, her voice calm and composed. "But not enough."
She twirled her staff, creating a whirlwind around her. Elijah braced himself, feeling the intense pressure. The whirlwind grew stronger, pulling him toward her. He dug his heels into the ground, resisting the pull, and started teleporting back little by little to escape the pulling force.
The whirlwind disappeared before the woman moved. Elijah appeared above her. "100 punches."
He unleashed a flurry of punches, each strike aimed at her vital points. She blocked and parried, her movements swift and precise. They exchanged blows, the sound of their clash echoing through the arena. Elijah's attacks grew more aggressive, each punch fueled by his teleporting around her, wanting to find an opening.
The woman retaliated with a sweeping strike of her staff, knocking Elijah back. He stumbled but quickly regained his footing, his eyes locked on her. She was a formidable opponent, but Elijah was determined to prevail.
Appearing behind her again, he spoke, "Full Burst: Space Breaker."
Elijah thought, "Damn, I messed it up again."
Sensing this, she said, "You idiot, didn't I tell you not to do that?" But this time, she knew the attack was much more powerful.
