His well-groomed black hair, paired with a plain white shirt and black pants, both concealed and revealed his physique. His devilishly handsome face was illuminated as he sat at the back of his seat, gazing outwards, the epitome of a true Young Master. Sensing something, Elijah turned to find Amy smiling at him.
Elijah was taller as he was 17 years old and Amy seemed to be in her 20s.
"What is it?" he inquired.
"Nothing, young master," she smirked lightly, a gesture Elijah chose to ignore as he delved back into his thoughts.
Amy then broached, "Young master, about that energy you were asking for..."
Elijah responded swiftly, "Do you have any information?"
Startled, she shook her head and continued, "No, young master, I was merely curious, that's all."
Considering her words, Elijah replied, "Chi is the energy that enables me to transcend human limitations and reach my current state. It took me ten years of rigorous training to get here, yet my Chi still lacks volume." He chuckled lightly as he spoke.
Amy gazed at him, her emerald eyes momentarily turning crimson before she nodded. "Then, do you mind if I train you?"
Elijah looked at her, surprised, before smiling. "Are you serious?" Amy nodded with a smile. "Thank you, Miss Amy. Let's finish this tedious dinner party and return to training."
Amy chuckled and said, "Before we arrive, let me explain a little." Seeing Elijah's attention, she continued, "This dinner party is for all the young masters and misses of their households or clans. Be friendly and expand your influence by making connections with those soon-to-be powerful figures."
"Many powerful families have gathered here due to the upcoming event in the lawless city in just three months. The rest of the information is irrelevant for now, but remember this and avoid making enemies you'll soon regret."
'I thought you were going to talk about the families, but what you just did was give me a hidden warning,' Elijah thought, listening to Amy.
"Regarding Cain Vinalun from the Vinalun Family, he's an arrogant young master. Your mission is simply to find a way to befriend him." Elijah nodded as they approached the grand gates with sounds emanating from the manor.
"Who is hosting this dinner party, anyway?" he inquired.
"The Vinalun Family," Elijah sighed as they came to a stop. Stepping out of the car, a sprawling manor appeared, guarded from every direction. Surveying his surroundings, the scent of well-cooked steak drew his attention away. Amy tried to stop him, but he was already entranced. "Oh, boy."
Behind the magnificent manor lay a beautiful garden, populated by numerous young people aged between fifteen and seventeen, of both genders. Elijah arrived, his eyes taking in the splendor of the place after being directed by a guard, leaving Amy to provide details. The five-star cuisine tantalized his senses.
"Hold yourself, Elijah," he admonished himself upon seeing the sumptuously cooked meat, yet he soon found himself indulging in every dish within reach. Observers presumed him to be from a modest background. Someone approached him, enjoying the well-prepared dishes.
The young man had brown hair and blue eyes, his aura exuding dominance, marking him as a young master or someone of higher status. In a composed tone, he said, "Hey, do you mind if I join you?"
"Go ahead," Elijah gestured, pausing for a moment to gaze at the manor, his expression flickering momentarily before returning to normal. Smiling at the young man beside him, Elijah asked, "Why do people keep staring at me?"
"I thought you hadn't noticed, but it's no matter," he chuckled lightly. "In these kinds of events, it's better to eat with a bit more refinement than you usually do."
"I don't care what they think of me, so why does it matter?" Elijah retorted.
The young master laughed and replied, "I like you. What's your name?"
"The name is Elijah, and you?" he smiled.
"I'm Mike... Mike Ralgmen," he responded, locking eyes with Elijah, awaiting a response.
"Ralgmen, where have I heard that name before?" Elijah pondered for a moment. "Oh yes, you or someone with the same surname was at the manor just a few days ago."
"What do you mean?" Mike asked, confused.
'No, it wasn't him; it was some cute girl,' Elijah thought, still puzzled. Without further explanation, Elijah inquired, "Do you know anyone named Cain, the young master of this place?"
"Oh, he's over there," Mike nodded in the direction of a young man surrounded by beautiful girls. Cain, a young man of around seventeen with blue hair and eyes, exuded a strong aura. Handsome though he may be, compared to Elijah, he seemed lacking.
