"Levi… What are you doing standing around like that?"
Those words slipped out of my mouth the moment I noticed Levi was standing in front of me after I had opened the door.
Even Amber gave out a little "Ohhhh~," sound before she hugged me from behind, probably her attempt at teasing Levi.
Levi glared at Amber a bit, ignoring me who asked her a question. I couldn't help but chuckle a bit, the awkwardness was increasing for some reason.
Finally, she looked my way,
"Where are you going?" Levi asked.
At first, I thought to give a somewhat vague response since I didn't want her getting any more involved in this than she already was, but then, just like Amber, Levi has her own problems that had rather not get into now.
So instead, I did what any honest and matured man would do- I lied.
"I'm heading to a meeting with Amber, sorry I didn't mention this earlier…"
