I immediately stopped doing what I'm currently doing and then looked towards the door with an annoyed feeling.

Diana who was besides me quickly caught up to my sudden movement and also looked towards the door.

Behind the door I could sense multiple presence of people.... I can say this because of the magic that makes me be aware if someone was outside the room..... well It was casted by Aria-sama, and it already helped me today when someone came over to give Diana her breakfast and lunch.

I looked at her and saw her face with a tired expression.

I looked towards them and then noticed another person who seems different from the rest of the servants.
There was a man who is dressed in fine clothings, it's also a person whom I never seen from the past days.

The man spoke as he entered the room.... he walked towards Diana and took a good look at her before showing an unpleasant smile.....
Seeing this made me feel

Diana's so called father asked the man while he smoked a cigarette on his hand.
"She looks okay, I think my master will like that."
"Very well, let's continue our talk outside."

The man turned around and glanced at Diana as he walked away.
The so called father and the other servants also followed suit and closed the door behind him.

And what I meant by that is your dead body that might be even chopped to pieces and put into plastics, boxes or some sort of other containers leaving your corpse to just rot away.
Believe me.... That's how some cruel people are in the modern world based from what I heard from news reports for a plenty of time.
But of course, this type of answer is not to be said to a girl as young as Diana who is in front of me.

According to Aria-sama... this place has a town just outside.
Well since it's a noble house, that would be normal....well anyways, the town should have walls and such.... there is also chance of townguards patrolling the streets.... if we were to be caught then it will be problematic.

Well either way, No matter what plans we will come up with for our escape. If we leave this mansion then we will surely end up in the town outside.

And if that is our plan, then, the next Issue will be our food supply.
After we leave this place then it will be the game of survival from that point on.
We need to hide and run, find shelter and should have income and food supplies.
There are so many things to think about even after we escape from this mansion.

If I recall our conversation, she told me that there is a room here that is used as a room for storing food.

Also, since I will be going to the food storage room, maybe I should also go to the Weaponry room and then to materials storeroom and then to the Treasurery room.
I should better just go loot this place first and take as many important items as I can before leaving.

The door opened and the so called father appeared again, and standing behind him were female servants who looked lazy and bothered.
The so called father took a quick look towards Diana and immediately turned his head towards the maids behind him.

The so called father gave the maids an order in which they just nodded and followed.
The servants lazily came inside the room while carrying an bucket of water as well as rags.
The father also came in behind and stopped before Diana taking a look at her from above as if intimidating her.

Diana stared at him blankly without saying anything.

Seeing her indifferent gaze, the father clicked his tongue and raised his hand with an annoyed look on his face before suddenly punched Diana on the face causing Diana to fall back on the bed.

I was about to get angry but Diana quickly held me with one of her hands, and looked at me and showed a small smile towards me.

Diana said in low tone of voice while as she smiled at me.
"What are you smiling about huh!?."
The man punched Diana again but Diana just did nothing except hold me.

the man glared at Diana and then turned around. He then proceeded walking towards the door and left the maids attending to Diana.
The maids then removed Diana's ragged cloth and started wiping her up.
For me, I watched the maids who is cleaning Diana up.
And as I watch them, I couldn't help but see their annoyed looks on their faces.
Their nerves huh.
The maids didn't hold back their expression of not wanting to do this.... it's clearly written on their face the entire time they are cleaning Diana....
But not only that, they also looked smug and cocky as they looked down on Diana.

Diana said in a low tone of voice again in which made me hold my anger down for a bit.

Time passed and the next thing after that was drying Diana up using a towel and dressing her with an commoners clothes.
it was different from the ragged clothes.... and it was also clean....
Did the one who bought her perhaps requested to clean and dress Diana up before this family send her to them?
I guess so.....
Now that the maids are done doing their jobs, they brought the things that they carried inside and went out before closing the door as they go.
