"We offer a barter. We'll release the children we've kidnapped, provided you release our partner." Zane and Nike could see that the masked man was smiling slyly behind the mask that covered his face.
Zane bit his lip, caught in a difficult dilemma. They couldn't let the kidnappers go free without consequences, but neither could they let the children be victimized. They both sat in silence, lost in their own thoughts.
