The woman opened her eyes slowly. The first thing she saw when she opened her eyes was her room, which still looked dark. She paused for a moment while trying to gather all her consciousness. Soon, her attention turned towards the curtains that were still closed.
Maxi climbed down from her bed. Her hand moved to grab a hair tie, which she then used to tie her long hair. Once she was done, she hurried over to the window not far from her bed.
She quickly opened the curtains covering the window, letting the bright morning sunlight penetrate into her room.
The room, which had been pitch black, was instantly enveloped in bright light that allowed her to easily see all corners of her house.
Maxi was silent as she opened the window wide. A smile was etched on her face as she could clearly feel the exchange of clear oxygen from outside with the air in her room.
