In the process of growing up, people make basic assumptions about their own self,worth as well as about the worth of significant people in their environment that may or may not be generalized to other people later in life.
Life positions tend to be more permanent than ego States. They are learned throughout life by way of reinforcement and responses. People with lam not okay you're not okay tend to feel bad about themselves and see the whole world as miserable and usually give up. They don't trust other people and have no confidence in themselves.
People with an " lam not okay, you're okay" life position often come from their compliant child ego state . They feel that others are more capable and generally have fewer problems than they themselves do.
This is the most common life position for people who love a high deference for Authority. They see their as " I don't have any control or much power,but these people with Authority or position power seem to have all the power and rewards and punishments.
People who feel " lam okay, you're not okay" often come from their coitical parent ego state. They tend to be down on other people for atleast two reasons. First, they often regard other people as sources of criticism. They feel that if they're not exactly perfect or right. People will be excessively critical to them.
Second, they want to break away or rebel from some Authority figure and become more independent,but they're either not sure how to go about this or they have had unpleasant experiences in attempting it in the past .
The radio presenter analyed the situation before going off air. Joshua and Jacob had tuned in to BBC radio as they were on their way home. Joshua received a text message from his long time girlfriend Angella.
He got too excited because he couldn't believe it. She had taken two whole years without contacting him and he was worried sick like a mother hen. " Welcome back sir! The house maid greeted Jacob who just curtly nodded heading upstairs. He removed his suit ,sat down on his comfy bed sighing softly. Removed the gown and only remained in her birthday suit. She looked at herself in the mirror and saw how perfectly she was endowed. A smile crept on her beautiful face and vowed to work hard and provide a better life to her family.
She went to take awarm bath and relax her tense muscles,the feeling was good. Wiping her body,she wore her night gown and sat on the vanity table to blow dry her hair. Her phone suddenly rang. Answering the phone,she smiled as her mom rarely called her late at night.
" Mom,I miss you, how are you and Lolita?" Annabelle bombed her mom with questions.
" We're okay, what about you?, by the way congratulations on being the number one talented queen with Priccy." Sabrina asked her daughter who was beaming with a smile at the mention of the dance competition.
Melissa who was from counselling received a call from her Mom whom she had taken a while without talking too.
" Mom! am sorry for the drama, no one sees me great. I should have listened to you but I wanted to fit in. Nothing I can do anymore and I didn't want to become anybody else." Melissa sobbed on the phone apologizing to her mom.
" It's okay,but it's good that you gave your life a second chance to become someone responsible for every decision you make in life." Melissa's mom comforted her daughter who realized her way of life during the past years were horrible.
Annabelle sighed softly after having a deep conversation with her Mom Sabrina. She covered herself in the duvets but her mind drifted towards the miserable life they went through in the ghetto slums.
" Christ! , it's gonna rain again,what should we do because the ceiling has leaks." Big droplets started landing on the ceiling. They all looked worried but had nothing to do.
Collecting basins, they placed them at places were water had started flooding. The vibration of her phone brought her back from her reverie.
Scrolling through her phone,she read an email were one of the upcoming artists wanted her and priccy as their dancers in the upcoming video. She immediately notified Priccy who was sleeping in her boyfriend's embrace. Getting out of the covers,she tiptoed and went to the balcony to talk to Annabelle as this was their first step into the entertainment world.
The gentle breeze kissed her skin making her groan. Apparently,she previously wanted to spend enough time with her boyfriend since entering the entertainment world meant being busy all the time. " Annabelle,I will prepare before dawn since the schedule is out. By the way why don't we visit the beach next weekend because the journey we're taking seems to be filled with challenges. We won't even have time to enjoy ourselves as we'll be shooting videos."
" Priccy! ,you should stop complaining because you had your fill hmmm, even Amir won't hesitate to push you until you reach your limit." Annabelle adviced Priccy who was acting like a baby whose candy was taken away. Saying goodbye to each other, Priccy returned to the bedroom where Amir was sleeping. His face looked stunning and relaxed when he slept. His pink lips that resembles those of women added a special charm no woman could escape. She climbed up the bed and observed him as if watching a special paint drawn on a canvas.
She smiled sheepishly and thanked herself for chosing wisely to win a hot boyfriend.
Annabelle who wasn't a sleep,scrolled more into her emails and saw Angella's message.
Clicking on it,she read the contents and smiled because Angella genuinely wished them happiness.
She decided to shop clothes via online because all the trendy and unique clothes had to be in her wardrobe.
Selecting all her favorite clothes she made her order and clicked on the send button.
Placing the phone on the small table,she switched off the bedside lamp and drifted to dream land. As people were in deep slumber,the entertainment world was buzzing with news of Zayra the TikTok celebrity who was supposed to shoot her video from Troy studios but suddenly delayed the shooting date. Her appearance on the top trendy news as her rumoured boyfriend circulated her nude pictures that went viral tarnishing her celebrity image.
All those who held deep grudges with her started cursing her as to why she became a whore who couldn't wait to use her body because of the need to be at top.
When Zayra's agent and manager saw this almost collapsed because once such pictures appeared on the internet the long time image that was pain stakingly built just collapses within hours. Even if they used their connections, they couldn't bring down the pictures however much they did.
