Chapter 115 - Henry Kills the MCU: part 3 (chapter 115)

prevousy in chapter 114

"Sarah!" Sam's voice was hoarse, a mix of desperation and fury. He struggled against the bonds that held him, but the restraints were unyielding. A shadow shifted in the dimly lit room, revealing Henry standing nearby. His presence was calm, almost casual, as he observed Sam's awakening. "Good, you're awake," Henry said, his tone devoid of emotion. "I wanted you to see this." "What the hell is this?" Sam demanded, his voice edged with anger and fear. "Let them go!"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Henry chuckled softly, shaking his head. "You're in no position to make demands, Sam. I've given you a choice. Save your family or fail them. It's up to you." Sam's mind raced, searching for a way out, for a solution to this impossible situation. "Why are you doing this? They have nothing to do with our fight!"

Henry's expression remained unchanged, as cold and detached as before. "Collateral damage, Sam. Every hero needs to understand the price of their decisions." Sam felt his heart clench with helplessness, the weight of the situation pressing down on him. "Please, don't do this. I'll do anything. Just let them go!"

Ignoring Sam's pleas, Henry stepped back, revealing a small device in his hand. With a flick of his wrist, he activated it, and a timer began to count down on the F-2's console. The jet's engines roared to life, the machine straining against its restraints. "I've tampered with your suit," Henry explained, a hint of satisfaction in his voice. "It won't be fast enough to reach them in time. But you can try. Maybe you'll get lucky."

Sam's heart pounded in his chest as he struggled against his bonds, adrenaline coursing through his veins. He activated his suit, feeling the familiar hum of the wings as they unfolded. "I'm begging you, don't do this," Sam pleaded one last time, his voice filled with desperation.

Henry watched with detached interest, his expression unwavering. "You have one minute, Sam. Good luck." With that, Henry vanished, leaving Sam alone with the deafening roar of the jet and the countdown ticking away. The realization hit him with a crushing force—he was out of time.

Sam activated his suit, feeling the familiar lift as his wings propelled him forward. He strained against the tampered controls, fighting to close the distance to his family. The suit responded sluggishly, his movements hampered by the sabotage Henry had inflicted. The jet's engines screamed as the countdown approached its final seconds. Sam's heart raced as he pushed the suit to its limits, every fiber of his being focused on reaching his family.

But the distance was too great, the time too short. As the final seconds ticked away, Sam watched in horror as the F-2 broke free from its restraints, the jet lurching forward with unstoppable momentum. "No!" Sam's cry echoed through the air, a sound of pure anguish and despair.

The F-2 surged ahead, the roar of its engines drowning out everything else. Sam watched, powerless, as the jet carried his family away, leaving him alone in the silence that followed. The devastation hit him like a physical blow, the weight of his failure settling over him like a shroud. His heart ached with a profound sense of loss, the reality of what had happened sinking in.

In that moment, Sam Wilson felt the world shift beneath him, a fracture in his soul that would never truly heal. He had been given an impossible choice, and the consequences were more devastating than he could have ever imagined, as henry then appeared behind him, with a gun to the back of his head, "i hate hurting children, but we all have to do something where are not proud of" henry said as he shot sam dead.

-scene change-

deep within russia, a warehouse lay nestled in the shadows of a forgotten industrial district, its exterior appearing abandoned and unremarkable. However, within its walls, Natasha Romanoff, also known as the Black Widow, had found temporary refuge with her sister Yelena Belova and their surrogate father, Alexei Shostakov, the Red Guardian. They had been on the run, evading the relentless pursuit of Henry and his twisted vendetta.

The air inside was tense, filled with the quiet determination of three seasoned warriors preparing for the inevitable confrontation. The warehouse was dimly lit, its high ceilings casting long shadows that danced with the flickering light. Rusted machinery and stacks of old crates provided cover as they devised a plan to evade the man who had become a living nightmare. Yelena was crouched behind a stack of crates, her eyes sharp and focused as she monitored the entrance. "We need to keep moving, Natasha," she urged, her voice low and urgent. "He's already found us twice." Natasha nodded, her expression grim. "I know, but we need a plan. We can't just keep running forever."

A/N: sorry i had some chapters mix, old concept and new concepts were mixed

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

A/N: Well, an early chapter—you're spoiled! Anyway, in my roster of fanfics, I have three ideas, some of which I've already started writing for when this one ends. These fanfic ideas are as follows, so vote for which one you'd like to see released next:

A: HP: The Raven Prince

This story is about a cultivation alchemist who makes pills, raises magical beasts, and tends to a magical garden. However, I'm not the biggest fan of Harry Potter, and based on your reactions to some chapters that reference the movies (hint: there's a lot of that since the MC avoids the trouble trio), I'm not sure if you'd like it. I also used ChatGPT to help edit the raw chapters for this fanfic.

B: The Universal Forger

This is about an overpowered blacksmith in The Rings of Power universe, featuring Galadriel of course, i don't need to say more. Personally, I like this one because I'm a fan of production classes in games, manhuas, and anime.

C: The Unknown God

Set in the Arrowverse, this story follows a god who grows from a god seed into a true god using faith from mortals. Unfortunately, this god is placed among cosmic horrors with no means of defense, except by descending into the mortal realm as an avatar to gather faith. I don't use ChatGPT for this one—just Grammarly—so the chapters might be a bit slower to release. However, I'm being careful to ensure it's not an overpowered story, and I'm really enjoying writing it.

D: forgot to add, the god of psionic : fanfic which is based on on the mcu but it's only based on the tv shows and not the movies
