Headmaster's office was filled with silence. Ihaan and Masir were standing right in front of him with Anika and Rameel. "So…" Ihaan dragged the word long.
Headmaster sighed, "Ihaan," He stood up from his chair. "I'm saying this to you last time, if you ever take Zayan out from Prodigy Academy's ground you will be stripped off from your rank."
Ihaan smiled, "Oh, what would you guys do without me?" He said with a mocking tone.
"Shut up and pay attention now." Headmaster stepped out from his desk. "The Prodigy Knight Exams will be conducted in a month or so. We are at war and we need more Prodigy Knights to help us in war and also people for medical assistance."
Headmaster takes a breather and then continues. "There are total of 6 main Houses now. And we need to attend to children from these Houses. We don't have enough Masters Prodigy Knight at the moment that' why six of you will be assigned to one class for this month and you'll train these kids in basic training so they can enter Prodigy Knight Selection."
Ihaan raised his hand up, "What you mean by six? I mean other than us most of the Prodigy Knights are on missions." Headmaster scuffed, "I am promoting you all to Prodigy Knight Masters." Everyone frowned in surprised, except Masir. "I was thinking about it, we have been Master Prodigy Knights in training for a while. It's about time we become official Master Prodigy Knights."
Rameel looked around and smiled slightly, "You mean all six of us? Including Anus and Her?" Headmaster sighed and after sometime he answered, "Yes, she will be promoted too. Even though she hasn't worked as trainee Master, she is one of the best Manipulus Users. Ihaan has already been appointed to House of Augmentum and Anika is has also been appointed to House of Elysium. As for Rameel you, you will be appointed to House of Inventum, Masir you specialize in Astralum use but you'll be assigned to House of Transcendere."
The door of Headmaster's office opens and a man walks in, he was wearing black robe just like Ihaan. "And Anus here will be appointed to House of Dynamo."
"Sorry, I'm late." Anus brushes his hand in his hairs. "I had to go check in the place Amir and Ariel were attacked." Masir turned back and looked at Anus, "Who were they?"
Anus walked past him and stood by Headmaster's side. "All of those dead people in white robes, all of them were Prodigy Knights. Traitors all of them are traitors of Quwahar. They must belong from that army of rebels we've been hearing for decades. They have never made any kind of move on Quwahar for quite some time now."
Ihaan turned around, "Well, we already know what they want. 'Save everyone from The Second Layer.' Whatever that means," He walks towards the exit. "Well, I don't really care, as long as I get to fight someone. I am going out, I have somewhere to be." He waved his right hand, and opened the door. Everyone eyed him, as he went out.
"He is so full of himself." Anus shrugged. Masir and Anika both turned around and went out from Headmaster's office, without saying anything. "So, can we go too?" Rameel asked with a polite tone. Headmaster turned back and looked the other way. "I am sure, both of you will do good, but I am worried about those four. They can be really troublesome sometimes. Even though you both used to be the biggest trouble I had when you were little." Rameel scratched his backside of head and with a light smile he said. "Yeah, I remember that. We all were always fighting and destroying Academy's property."
Anus sighed, "Yeah, I remember that too. But, we can't be kids now, you know. They need to understand that, we have responsibility now. We will be responsible for a whole squad from now on. It's about time we grow up and stop acting like kids."
Headmaster sat down on his chair. "You should get to work, Anus I need you to track those Dreadscars we sent to find there base, there has been no news from them for quite some time now."
Anus walks towards the door, "I'll look into it as soon as possible." He opens the door and walks out.
Rameel looked at Headmaster. Headmaster looked back, "You want something, Rameel?" Rameel came near Headmaster's desk.
"Yes, actually I wanted to ask a favor from you," Rameel said to Headmaster.
Headmaster placed his hands on desk. "I'm all ears. What is it?" Rameel hassitated. "It's about Amara from House of Inventum."
"That's your sister, if I remember corectlly. Right?"
"Yes, she is. I wanted to talk to you about her training. She is not interested in being a helper on battlefield she wants to learn how to user her Matter Creation Prodigy to fight, not just help."
Headmaster smirked, "Just like you, huh." Rameel smiled. "Yes, but I don't think her Prodigy is suitable for fighting on battlefield. She already tried to join House of Augmentum and learn fighting under Ihaan, he declined I guess but I am sure she won't be giving up."
"You want me to make sure she doesn't join a fighting squad at all cost?" Headmaster said before Rameel could ask.
"Yes, she is just a kid and I don't want her getting hurt. She is better as a helper than a fighter. So, kindly cancel her every single letter that she sent to join fighting squads." Rameel plead.
"Rameel, you know I can't do that. Everyone has free will to what they wanna do with there Prodigy. You shouldn't stop her like this since you did the same thing when you were her age and because of your stubborn nature we got a great Prodigy Knight because of that. Think about it and let her choose…"
Rameel smiled back and slowly walked out saying, "I will not rest until I make sure that she stops thinking about joining a fighting squad."
