Chapter 225 - GRR:- Chapter 223:- Sufferings

Now let's spice things up," said Izuku as he healed them again.

All of them quivering in pain and horror, Izuku closed the distance between them as he said, "If you don't want this to happen, you'll now work for me, where you need to eliminate all those people who attack us, and tell me if you are contacted again, and most importantly I want your contractor, find him, or else you are welcome to experience my wife's hospitality."

"N-N-N-N-No, we'll work for you, please keep her away from us." all of them spoke in unison.

Izuku nodded, pleased with the result. "Good, what should you do when someone shows you such good hospitality?" Asked Izuku.

"T-T-Th-Tha-Thank you for your hospitality, great sir and Madam, we will be forever grateful to you for your hospitality," muttered all of them.

"Very good, I'll release you in the morning, till then why don't you make plans on how you're going to give me what I want," said Izuku to which all the hostages nodded fanatically.

"They just attacked on contract basis so they were spared, you won't be, even if you were forced to do so, what you did is unacceptable, you'll have a fate worse than them." said Izuku as he went to the girls.

Bloodied Maki approached Izuku, as she asked, "Nee Izuku, I did great right?"

"Of course Maki, you did a good job." said Izuku, caressing Maki's bloody hair.

"Nee Izuku, you kept this hostage space hidden from me, having all the fun on your own, not fair, you know how much I love torturing people, yet you kept something so good hidden from me." said Maki as she pouted.

"What are you even saying, it was a surprise for you, why do you think I called you and not Kaina or Momo, I know how much you like it, it's my wedding gift for you, until I get you pregnant," said Izuku.

"Really, thank you Izuku," said Maki delighted from hearing that, as she hugged Izuku tightly.

"Since we are all bloodied, let's wash up together before going to bed," said Izuku to which Maki nodded happily.

Fuyumi glanced at Maki one last time, still in shock at what she had witnessed. She couldn't understand how Maki could switch between being so gentle and loving with Eri and the girls to being this brutal and cold-hearted with their enemies.

But one thing was clear—Maki wasn't someone to be messed with. Not when it came to protecting the people she loved.

The hostages lay on the floor, broken and in a mental mess, their fear palpable as they regretted being involved with someone this crazy.

While this was happening in Izuku's residence, a totally different level of monstrosity was being committed somewhere else.

I-Island, hub of innovation and scientific progress had a darker side to it, one the normal citizens and tourists were completely unaware of.

I-Island's one of the biggest buildings had a secret no one knew of. It had a secret underground facility which was far larger than any individual lab, while the labs were non functional during night.

The underground facility was working 24/7 where workers changed shifts based on demands.

The huge underground lab was filled with the low hum of machines and the distant sounds of captives moaning in agony. The air was thick with the scent of blood and fear.

Scientists moved between the cages, their faces tight with unease as they carried out their cruel tasks under the command of the mystery man, whose presence loomed like a dark shadow over the entire operation.

A scientist approached a cage where a young man was strapped to a table, his face pale and drenched in sweat. The scientist, hands shaking slightly, prepared a syringe filled with a glowing liquid.

"Please… please don't," the man begged, his voice hoarse and trembling. "I… I'll do anything. Just don't do this!"

The scientist didn't meet his eyes. He simply muttered, "I'm just following orders. We all are."

Another scientist standing nearby glanced over nervously. "You know he's watching," she whispered, her eyes darting toward the darkened window overlooking the lab. "If we don't do this… you know what will happen."

The man on the table screamed as the needle plunged into his arm, his body jerking violently as the liquid burned through his veins. His eyes rolled back, foam spilling from his mouth as his screams turned into gurgles.

"Get him under control!" barked the mystery man from the shadows, his voice cold and devoid of emotion.

His face was hidden behind a mask, his true identity unknown to the scientists who feared him as much as the captives did.

One of the scientists scrambled to restrain the man as he convulsed, tightening the straps on the table. The other scientist sighed, stepping back as the man's body stilled, the life draining from his eyes.

"Another failure," she said quietly, glancing at the monitor showing his vitals flatlining. "That makes how many today?"

"Too many," her colleague muttered, shaking his head. "But we keep going. He's not going to stop until he gets what he wants."

Across the room, in a separate cage, a woman huddled in the corner, clutching her knees to her chest. Her eyes were hollow, her body trembling from the repeated experiments that had left her a broken shell.

She watched as two scientists dragged another lifeless body past her cage, her lips trembling as she whispered, "Why are you doing this? We're people… we're not animals…"

One of the scientists paused, looking at her for a moment, guilt flickering across his face. "I'm sorry," he whispered, barely audible. "I don't have a choice."

"You always have a choice!" she cried, her voice raw with desperation. "Please! You don't have to do this…"

But the scientist turned away, his expression hardening as he moved to the next cage. "Keep quiet. You don't want him to hear you."

In another part of the lab, a group of captives huddled together, their bodies weak and bruised.

One man, his face covered in cuts, leaned against the bars of his cage, his voice a barely audible whisper. "Do you think… will anyone come for us?"

A woman next to him, her eyes swollen from crying, shook her head. "No one knows we're here. No one cares. We're going to die here… just like the others."

"Not if we tell him what he wants to know," another captive said, his voice shaking. "Maybe… maybe if we cooperate, he'll let us go."

A bitter laugh escaped the woman's lips. "You think he'll let us go? Look around! Look at what he's doing to us. There's no way out."

Meanwhile, the mystery man stood before a monitor, his eyes fixed on the data streaming in. "The results aren't enough," he said, his voice cold. "Push them harder. I need more."

One of the scientists, her voice trembling with fear, spoke up. "They're already at their limits… if we push them any further—"

"Do it," he interrupted, his tone leaving no room for argument. "I don't care about their limits.

They are tools. Nothing more. I need the consignment ready, the financer won't wait any longer, we need to make up for the loss of the Kyoto facility." Said the mystery man in anger, grinding his teeth.

The scientist swallowed hard and nodded, quickly moving to carry out the order. In one of the cages, a young girl, no older than sixteen, began to cry as the machines attached to her cage whirred to life, pumping chemicals into the air. "No, please… not again… I can't… I can't take it…"

The scientists ignored her pleas, adjusting the dials as her sobs grew louder, her body shaking violently as the toxins filled her lungs. The captives in the other cages watched in silent horror, knowing they were next.

"Is there… is there nothing we can do?" one of the younger scientists whispered, his hands trembling as he looked at the captives. "They're dying… we're killing them."

Another scientist, older and more jaded, shook his head. "We do what we're told. If you want to live, you follow orders. That's the only way."

The younger scientist clenched his fists, fighting back tears as the sounds of the captives' suffering filled the room. "This is wrong…"

Before he could say more, the mystery man's voice cut through the air again, sharp and commanding. "Stop stalling. Get back to work. These subjects are expendable."

The scientists hurried to comply, their faces pale as they moved from one cage to the next, injecting chemicals, drawing blood, and recording data.

The captives' cries for mercy went unanswered, their suffering growing with each passing moment.

In one cage, a man's body shook violently as his muscles spasmed uncontrollably, his screams piercing the air. "Please… please make it stop!" he begged, his voice breaking. But there was no one to listen.

The mystery man, watching from his perch, gave a cold, satisfied nod. "Good. Keep them alive, just long enough for the next round. We need to push them further."

His eyes, hidden behind the mask, gleamed with a twisted sense of purpose. There was no compassion, no remorse. Only a hunger for results.

The captives knew one thing for certain: there was no escape from this nightmare. Their suffering would continue until they broke—or died.

And the man behind it all, the one they called the mystery man, would not stop until he had what he wanted.
