They decided to have dinner in the local restaurant as they ate the local cuisines as well as speciality items of Kyoto. Ending their Kyoto exploration date on a high note.
As Izuku and Fuyumi wandered back towards their hotel after their peaceful day of exploration, the warm hues of the setting sun casting a soft glow over Kyoto, the tranquil atmosphere was suddenly interrupted. From a small alleyway nearby, a figure stumbled out, looking frantic and dishevelled.
It was a young boy, no older than ten or eleven, with tattered clothes and a face marked by fear and exhaustion. His eyes darted around as if searching for something—or someone—who could help him.
He looked completely out of place amidst the serene surroundings of the city, a stark contrast to the calmness Izuku and Fuyumi had been enjoying.
Izuku's eyes darted towards him, sensing something wrong, he gently released Fuyumi's hand and stepped toward the boy. "Hey there, are you okay?" he asked, his voice gentle but filled with confusion.
The boy froze for a moment, his eyes locking onto Izuku. There was a brief hesitation, but then something in Izuku's presence seemed to reassure him. He took a few shaky steps forward, his small body trembling. "Please… help me," he whispered, his voice barely audible.
Izuku knelt down to the boy's level, giving him a reassuring smile. "Of course, I'll help you. What happened? Are you hurt?"
The boy shook his head, though his expression remained haunted. "I'm not hurt… but… but the others… they're still there… I barely got out…."
Izuku's expression grew more serious, sensing the gravity of the situation. He placed a comforting hand on the boy's shoulder. "You're safe now. Can you tell me where you came from? Who are the others you're talking about?"
The boy kept looking here and there, still filled with fear, Izuku decided to take him to the suite, locked the door, made a lemonade, gave it to him to drink, recovering the loss of energy evident from his appearance.
Once the boy drank the lemonade, Fuyumi squatted down to the boy's eye level as she placed her hand on his head, reassuring him saying, "Don't worry, no one will hurt you, now tell us, what's wrong?"
The boy's eyes welled up with tears as he began to speak, his voice trembling with fear and desperation. "It's… it's a place… they keep us there… they hurt us… do things to us… I don't know where it is exactly, but… but it's not far…."
Fuyumi stepped closer, her heart breaking at the sight of the terrified child. "You're safe with us now," she said softly. "We'll make sure nothing bad happens to you." Fuyumi reassured him once again.
The boy looked between Izuku and Fuyumi, feeling the warmth of their presence slowly ease his fear. He nodded, sniffling as he tried to calm himself. "There's a man… he's in charge… Yoroi… he's the one who… he's the one who does those things to us… experiments…"
Izuku's eyes widened slightly at the word experiment, his mind racing. He had heard rumours about someone like him in the underworld and the black market.
'Yoroi better known as Yoroi Musha, one of the pro heroes in the top 10 pro heroes, an old gramps who has been away from the limelight for a while.
After almost going bankrupt, he went missing for a few months, then he came back saying he needed time to sort things and freshen his mind, and all of a sudden he was out of bankruptcy, someone cleared all of his debt anonymously.
People in the underworld speculated he got a strong backer, who took care of all of his expenses, but no one knew who it was, as if it wasn't shaddy enough, to think he is involved in illegal human experimentation, but still the puzzle isn't complete yet.
Judging by Yoroi Musha's personality he isn't someone who can start things like that on his own, there's a mastermind behind all this, someone pulling strings hiding in the shadows. I need to find him as soon as possible.
It also solves the missing piece of the puzzle as to where he was for a few months and how he was able to clear all of his debts. This boy had just given me the missing piece I needed.' Thought Izuku.
"What kind of experiments?" Izuku asked gently, trying to keep his tone calm so as not to frighten the boy further.
"They… they put us in machines… they hurt us… try to make us stronger or different… but it doesn't work… some kids don't come out… they just… disappear… I don't know what happened to them… I got out when they weren't looking… but they'll come after me… they always find us…"
Izuku's jaw clenched as the boy's words painted a horrifying picture in his mind. The thought of children being subjected to such cruelty was enough to make his blood boil, but he knew he had to stay calm for the boy's sake.
"You're safe now," Izuku repeated, his voice firm but reassuring. "I promise we'll stop this. Can you show us the way? Even if you don't know exactly where it is, maybe we can find it together."
The boy hesitated, looking uncertain. "I… I think I can… but… are you sure? It's dangerous…"
Izuku nodded, his expression resolute. "I'm sure. You don't have to be afraid anymore. We'll take care of it."
Fuyumi placed a hand on the boy's other shoulder, offering him a comforting smile. "And we'll keep you safe, I promise."
The boy looked between the two of them, feeling a sense of hope he hadn't felt in a long time. He nodded, finally finding the strength to trust them. "Okay… I'll show you…"
Izuku and Fuyumi exchanged a brief glance, knowing that their peaceful day had just taken a serious turn. But neither of them hesitated.
"You look after the kid, and prioritize escaping with all the other survivors, I'll clear the path for you, remember, you aren't to engage unless surrounded, I'll take care of those people, and here take this," said Izuku as he handed him a switch.
"What's this?" Asked Fuyumi.
"It's a special support item, once all of the survivors are rescued and brought to a place, press this switch, it will teleport you and others to Hiroshima, I'll talk to Shoji, he'll arrange an area for their treatment.
Once all of them are admitted, you can press the switch again, it will bring you back to this hotel. I have designated this as a temporary location so you will be back here, stay here until I come back." Explained Izuku.
"What about you?" asked Fuyumi.
"I'll deal with them myself, I need to punish people, and things will get bloody, it's better if you don't see it, it might be traumatising for you," said Izuku.
"I want to come with you, even if it's traumatising, I don't want to be left behind, Maki, Momo, and Kaina all have been on missions with you, I also want to go on missions with you." said Fuyumi, not willing to be left behind.
"Fuyumi try to understand, this isn't some game where you want to come just because other girls came with me. Those three have been on missions with me because they have been through hell, where at some point all of them had given up on life.
There will be bodies everywhere, sliced in half, guys coming out of their bodies, it will be a whole bloody mess, you know how I do things.
That kind of scene is not good for someone who's going to get pregnant, if you want to get pregnant, then do as I say, if you don't wish to get pregnant, then come with me, as far as Kaina is concerned, she isn't going to be on any missions with me anymore, unless something urgent.
Her first task is to protect Eri, second will be the child I put in her belly later on, that's her mission now, so try to understand, and do as I say, okay?" Asked Izuku.
Fuyumi nodded reluctantly as even though she wished to go on a mission with Izuku, but more than that she wanted Izuku's child, that's why she agreed to Izuku.
"Come on kid, let's rescue others from the hell," said Izuku looking at the kid, who was getting a bit uncomfortable.
The kid nodded as Izuku took him out to the place where the first met.
