She only remembered a blank face kicking her out of the house. Eri asked, "Mom, are you not going to stay with us?"
"No, sweetie, I'll have to go back home. But don't worry, I'll come tomorrow morning and stay with you till dinner, okay?" Rei said as she fed her.
"Can't you stay with us forever?" Eri asked with puppy eyes.
"I'm afraid not, sweetie. You see, big sister Fuyumi's dad will be coming home soon, and I have to prepare dinner for him as well," said Rei.
Eri's eyes welled up with tears, and her bottom lip quivered. "But I want you to stay, Mom. Please stay!" she pleaded, her voice breaking.
Rei's heart ached to see Eri so upset. "Oh, sweetheart, I really want to stay too, but I promise I'll come back tomorrow. We'll have so much fun together!"
Eri began to sob, her tiny shoulders shaking. "No, I want you to stay now! Don't go, Mom!"
Izuku knelt down beside them, his voice calm and soothing. "Eri, listen to me. I know you want her to stay, and it's okay to feel sad, but she'll come back tomorrow. We'll have a wonderful time together."
Kaina joined in, her tone gentle. "Eri, sometimes we have to wait a little for the things we want. It's just one night, and tomorrow morning will come quickly."
Fuyumi hugged Eri, wiping away her tears. "Eri, I promise we'll play lots of games and do fun things while we wait for Mom to come back. And don't worry I won't be going anywhere, I'll be staying with you here, and never leave you. How does that sound?"
Eri sniffled, her tears slowing. "Okay... but she'll come back tomorrow, right?" she asked, looking up at Rei with big, hopeful eyes.
Rei hugged Eri tightly. "Yes, darling. I'll be back first thing in the morning. We'll have so much fun together."
Eri finally nodded, though reluctantly. "Okay, but you promise?"
Rei kissed her forehead. "I promise, sweetheart."
Izuku gave Eri a reassuring smile. "See? Everything will be just fine."
Eri gave a small nod, still clinging to Rei but slowly accepting the reassurance from everyone.
After a few more comforting words and hugs, Eri calmed down, her tears drying up. Izuku prepares to teleport Rei back to the Todoroki mansion.
Standing outside the mansion, Rei turned to Izuku, her eyes full of gratitude. "Thank you for taking such good care of Eri. She's been through so much, and you've given her a new life."
Izuku smiled softly. "She deserves all the love and happiness. And thank you for everything, for being here for her."
Rei's eyes glistened with emotion. "Please, look after my Fuyumi too. You know how much I care for her."
Izuku nodded, his eyes earnest. "I will. I promise to take care of her and make sure she's happy. You can count on me, Mother."
Rei's eyes widened slightly at the word "Mother." "Why did you call me that?"
Izuku's smile grew warmer. "You're Fuyumi's mother, and she means the world to me. It just feels right to call you Mother, now that she's soon going to be my wife."
Rei's heart swelled with affection. She hadn't felt such warmth in a long time. "Thank you, Izuku."
Izuku, feeling a deep connection, hugged her tightly. Rei was taken aback for a moment, her body stiffening slightly in surprise.
"What's this for?" Rei asked softly, her voice trembling with unexpected emotion.
Izuku held her close, his voice gentle. "It's not just Eri who needed a hug right? I could see it in your eyes, you also wanted someone to hug you tightly, and comfort you, since you are my mother, it's only natural for me to comfort you.
You've been so strong for so long, carrying so much on your own. You've done an amazing job, and you deserve to feel supported too." Izuku caressed her back.
Rei felt a wave of emotion wash over her. No one had ever said those words to her. She had always been the strong one, the one who held everything together. She always wanted someone to tell her this, all her life had been full of hardships, from her family's bad financial condition to being sold as a breeding cow to Endeavour.
Who only wanted a perfect child, never treated her anything more than that, and even stopped touching or talking to her after Shoto was born, as all he cared for was training Shoto and beating All Might, even her house environment was always gloomy, so even when she had kids going around, she never felt happiness or care from anyone, being the caregiver always.
Finally, she was put into a mental hospital for snapping at Shoto and burning his face, which she deeply regretted, all in all, her whole life was filled with hardship, now that Izuku was showing love and care to her, saying the things she wanted to hear for so long, she couldn't handle it anymore as she broke down in Izuku's embrace.
Tears streamed down her face as she clung to Izuku tightly, her voice breaking. "It's been so hard, Izuku. I've felt so alone, just being treated like a tool. I never thought anyone would see how much I was hurting in silence."
Izuku stroked her back, his embrace firm and reassuring. "You've done great, Rei. You don't have to carry it all alone anymore. You can rely on me. I'm here for you."
Rei's heart pounded with a mix of gratitude and a confusing rush of affection. She knew this was her son-in-law, and she shouldn't feel this way, but the warmth of his hug and the kindness in his words made her heart flutter.
'I shouldn't be doing this,' Rei thought, her inner conflict raging. 'He's my daughter's partner. But he's also the only one who's ever understood me this deeply.'
She tried to push herself away from Izuku's embrace, her mind telling her to keep a distance. But her body felt weak, unwilling to break the comforting hold.
Just then, Izuku gently released her from the hug. Rei felt relieved thinking he understood her need for space, but he surprised her by kissing her forehead softly.
"I'll always be here for you, Rei. You can lean on me whenever you need. You're not alone anymore. This son of yours will protect you from everything and make sure you don't have to endure anything or suffer alone ever from now on, " said Izuku as Rei could feel Izuku's honesty and sincerity.
Rei's heart raced at this tender gesture, her body reacting with a flush of warmth. Her mind reeled with the sudden rush of emotions. She felt a profound sense of love and care from Izuku, a feeling she hadn't experienced in so long. Her heart beat faster, her cheeks flushing red as she realized how deeply she was starting to care for him.
'This is the last straw,' she thought, her mind swirling with confusion and desire. 'I can't keep pretending anymore. I don't feel this way.'
Without thinking, driven by a bold impulse, Rei leaned in and kissed Izuku on the lips. The kiss was slow, deep, and filled with all the emotions she had been holding back. Izuku was taken aback, his mind reeling as Rei's lips overwhelmed him with their intensity.
Rei poured all her love and longing into the kiss, savoring the moment as she felt a connection she had been craving for so long. After a few intense moments, she pulled back, leaving Izuku stunned, his face flushed with surprise and confusion.
Rei saw Izuku's stunned look, his cheeks red, and took it as a sign that he wasn't entirely opposed to her affection. She knew he was much stronger than her and could have easily pushed her away, but he hadn't.
She feared this action might make things awkward for them, she might lose him and things could be messed up, but seeing Izuku stunned, with a blush, she knew she still had a chance.
She knew she had already wasted a lot of time in her life, unlike Fuyumi, who wasn't sure and confused about Izuku even when she looked for him like a fanatic for a whole year.
Rei on the other hand knew what wanted him, was willing to do anything it took to get him, and did not want to waste any more time than what was already wasted, as she thought she also deserved happiness as well.
Well, that's one of the reasons why milfs are the best, they have no unnecessary drama, stick to what they want and work on it.
She gave him a soft kiss on the cheek, hugged him tightly, and turned away, saying with a newfound confidence, "I'll take you up on that offer. I'll rely on you from now on my dear son, make sure to look after Mommy well okay?"
With that, she walked back into her home, leaving Izuku standing outside, still trying to process what had just happened.
Once inside, Rei leaned against the door, her face burning with a mix of embarrassment and excitement. She covered her face with her hands, her legs trembling as she sat on the entrance, whispering to herself, "I did it. I really did it. There's no going back now."
Her mind raced with thoughts of what she had just done, while her heart was beating very fast, and her breathing was haggard.
