In just a month Izuku conquered Fukuoka Town, which was easier than he thought, as Izuku just ticked off Fukuoka from his list.
The list had all the 46 cities or prefectures of Japan, and it was a list titled conquered cities.
And ticking off Fukuoka meant that he had conquered Fukuoka Prefecture and now Fukuoka Prefecture was his territory.
Seeing this Izuku had a smile on his face as he was sitting on a train back home looking outside the window and enjoying the scenery.
Kaina was attached to Izuku like glue as she asked Izuku, "Nee Izuku Kun, why did you take that heteromorph's help, couldn't you just achieve the same thing in half the time we took," Her voice had a curiosity laced into it.
Izuku chuckled, his fingers gently tracing patterns on her cheek. "Because, darling, sometimes winning isn't just about speed," he explained. "It's about playing the game right, setting up the pieces on the board, because when I saved that Heteromorph's life, I became his god, by achieving what he wanted I made him obligated to do things I tell him to, with the brutality he knows that he cannot run away from me, and what would happen if he betrays me," said Izuku.
He recalled the terrified eyes of the heteromorph, the desperation in his plea for help. By saving him, Izuku had not just gained a temporary ally, but a loyal subject. The man's fear, the debt of his life, became a leash held taut in Izuku's grasp.
"But why spare the others?" Kaina tilted her head, her voice a whisper against his skin. "Wouldn't a city of only heteromorphs be easier to control?" asked Kaina as she purred on Izuku's carcass.
Izuku shook his head. "Fear keeps them in line, my love," he whispered. "But it can also breed rebellion. I may hold the sword, but their minds are the battleground. Besides, they serve a purpose too."
He saw them clearly in his mind - the humans, scurrying like ants beneath his watchful gaze. They wouldn't understand his vision, not truly. But they could be useful pawns, their fear a potent fuel for his machinations.
"It's like a game," he continued, his voice tinged with amusement. "I set the stage, create the rules, and they dance to my tune. No need for brute force when whispers and shadows can do the trick."
He savored the image - a city cowering under his invisible dominion, their every thought tinged with the knowledge of his power. They wouldn't even realize the chains they wore, the strings he pulled from afar.
"Patience, Kaina," he murmured, squeezing her hand gently. "Fukuoka may not have fallen instantly, but it fell all the same. And now, they are mine to play with, little puppets in a grand, silent symphony ready to do whatever I wish them to do."
The train sped on, carrying Izuku and Kaina into the fading light, leaving behind a city caught in a silent web of manipulation. Fukuoka was conquered, but it was not mere brute force that had secured victory. It was a game of shadows, a dance of fear and manipulation, and Izuku, the puppeteer in the wings, held all the strings.
When all of this was happening in Fukuoka, the rest of Japan returned to normalcy as, after the Aldera incident, no one in Japan heard from the masked man or the League of Villains so the normal people treated it as a bad dream, and started forgetting about it, but the police where racking their brains trying to find out about the identity of the masked man or the hideouts of the league of villains but all they met was a dead end.
However even if there was no action from him or the League of Villains, still there was a major incident that took place in the city, one that turned the tide of the story in Izuku's favor. In the bustling city of Musutafu, the skyline painted a vibrant hue against the setting sun as the streets buzzed with the sounds of everyday life. Among the officers patrolling the city, camaraderie often danced hand in hand with tension. It was an unspoken truth that gender biases occasionally simmered beneath the surface within law enforcement.
Within the precinct, tensions simmered hotter than usual. The police forces already had to do overtime to search for League of Villains and all the pressure put on by the government and pro-heroes had already frustrated the police officers a lot as they couldn't give enough time to their families, amidst this was a promotion that loomed on the horizon, and it was anticipated to land in the lap of one of the male officers. This didn't sit well with some of the female officers who felt their efforts went unnoticed and overshadowed by the prevailing biases.
Detective Kaito strode through the precinct, his confidence apparent with every step. He'd put in tireless hours, solving cases and lending a hand to anyone who needed it. The promotion felt within reach. However, not everyone shared his enthusiasm.
A handful of female officers, led by Sergeant Miyuki, seethed in the shadows of the precinct. They'd grown resentful of the male-dominated hierarchy, feeling sidelined and underappreciated. As rumors spread about Kaito's potential promotion, jealousy and frustration brewed into a concoction of resentment.
One evening, as the precinct simmered with the weight of ambition and envy, whispers became accusations. Falsehoods bloomed like weeds in a garden. Allegations of misconduct began to circulate, starting as hushed murmurs among a select few before sweeping through the precinct like wildfire.
Kaito, alongside a few of his male colleagues, found themselves targeted by a web of fabricated allegations. False reports of harassment and assault were lodged against them, accusations that sent shockwaves through the precinct. The once tight-knit community fractured as suspicion and doubt clouded their camaraderie.
The accusations were swift and severe. Media outlets caught wind of the scandal, sensationalizing the allegations and tarnishing the reputations of the accused officers. Society's gaze turned harsh, casting judgment without waiting for the truth to emerge.
In the blink of an eye, these officers, once respected guardians of the city, were shunned. Suspended pending investigation, they were met with scornful glances, and whispers that cut deeper than any blade.
Kaito, a man of honor and integrity, felt his world crumble. His years of dedication evaporated in the face of baseless accusations. The precinct, once his second home, became a haunting reminder of shattered trust.
As the days stretched into an agonizing wait for justice, Kaito and his colleagues stood resolute, determined to unearth the truth buried beneath the weight of jealousy and deceit. But the road to redemption seemed treacherous, fraught with obstacles and uncertainties.
The precinct, once a beacon of justice, now stood as a battleground where truth struggled against the suffocating grip of lies. And amid the chaos, the painful reality lingered: sometimes, the greatest adversaries wear the faces of those once considered allies.
And the result of the investigation came against Kaito, as apparently, Miyuki had used her sexuality as an excuse to seduce the investigating officers into giving judgment in her favor.
This not only led to Miyuki getting that promotion and money as compensation, but Kaito and his subordinates were fired from their jobs, and forced to pay compensation to Miyuki and her subordinates for something they didn't even commit.
This left them completely shattered, the verdict was made public by Miyuki, and Kaito and his subordinates were met with the scornful gaze of the public, stones thrown at them, they were thrown out of their houses, hatred in their children's eyes, in one instance, those once respected police officers who gave their everything to protect the city, now lost everything, their job, respect, honor, their family, everything they held dear to them, they were even forced to give divorce to their wives, now totally alone roaming around like worthless bums that had no reason to live, they couldn't relocate, they didn't get any kinds of help or job from anyone.
They were in total misery, they were contemplating what they should do now, that's when they received a video message on their phones, it was sent by someone unknown as they couldn't see any name, IP address or anything.
Seeing the video message, their eyes that once lost the light were now burning in fury, clenching their fists, gnashing their teeth, a look of rage was eminent in them, and after which all of them nodded looking at each other, and stood up, a determined look formed on their faces, still they had the rage in their eyes as they dusted their clothes as they headed to an unknown location.
