"People fear what they don't understand. And even more, they fear what they can't control." - Itachi Uchiha, Naruto
"Alright, kiddos! Hope you're all ready for this thrilling ride. Remember, it's not just about raw power anymore. UA is looking for heroes who can think on their feet, make ethical decisions, and adapt to unforeseen challenges. Now, let's dive into the unexpected!" said Present Mic as he greeted everyone.
First, all the students gave the basic quirk apprehension tests, like the 50-meter dash, grip strength, standing long jump, repeated side steps, ball throw, distance run, seated toe touch, and sit-ups.
In all these tests which were taken by both classes together, Toji aka Izuku took the first place, followed by Momo and finally Maki who didn't have such explosive power as Izuku and Momo used her quirk to get rid of the competition.
Yet this was just a warm-up, as what quirk one has or how versatile it is doesn't matter if you can't control it and use it to help people, then you would just be a burden, a toddler who is handed an AK47.
"Since warmups are over, let's head to the main course," said Present Mic as he began explaining what was the main course.
"Real test begins now, it will be divided into 2 parts,
Part 1 is Scenario Simulations
Each student will be stepping into a specially designed simulation room, similar to the ones used in the entrance exam but with a new level of complexity.
There you will face a series of scenarios meant to test your decision-making skills, morality, and adaptability. The simulations range from everyday situations to crisis scenarios, each requiring a unique approach.
1st is Everyday Dilemmas: Students, you will encounter scenarios where your quirks are less relevant, but that's where your hero instincts are crucial.
A child stuck in a tree, a lost pet, or a civilian with a flat tire, or a kid suffering bullying– everyday things that don't need the interference of heroes and can be done by just a normal human as well, but when there is no one around, will you help them or neglect them, your choices and actions matter more than the quirks you wield.
2nd is Crisis Management: Simulated disasters where you students will be pushed to your limits. Collapsed buildings, raging fires, and hazardous environments will test your ability to navigate the chaos and make decisions under intense pressure, where someone's life may depend on your choice, during such intense pressure what choices you make matters the most.
3rd is Villain Encounter: Virtual villains with tricky quirks will challenge the students. This isn't about overpowering them but finding creative ways to neutralize the threat without causing unnecessary harm or damage to public property.
4th is Ethical Quandaries: Here, you students will face moral dilemmas – choosing between two paths where the right choice isn't always clear. The test isn't just about using quirks but understanding the consequences of wrongly using your quirks.
While Part 2 is Team Exercises
After the simulation rooms, you students will be regrouped for team exercises. The focus then shifts from individual quirks to teamwork, strategy, and coordination.
1st is Rescue Operation: A team of students will find themselves in a scenario where quick and efficient rescue efforts will be needed. The emphasis will be teamwork, communication, and prioritizing saving lives over defeating the simulated villain.
2nd is Negotiation and De-escalation: In a hostage situation, you students will be tasked with using your quirks and communication skills to de-escalate the tension. The goal will be to resolve the situation without violence protect both hostages and neutralize the villains.
3rd is Coordination Challenge: Here the students will engage in a fast-paced coordination challenge where your quirks are intertwined, requiring precise timing and collaboration to succeed. This test is to push you students to adapt to each other's strengths and weaknesses." Explained Present Mic as kids wondered how he could talk so much that too loudly.
As the Quirk Apprehension Test unfolded, the students found themselves navigating a series of unexpected challenges, their every decision and action scrutinized for the qualities that defined a hero beyond their quirks.
The test concluded with Present Mic announcing, "Great job, everyone! Remember, being a hero is not just about your quirk. It's about how you use it when you use it, and the impact it has on the world around you. UA is looking for those who can rise to the challenge, no matter how unpredictable or tough it gets!"
