Tentacle-like machinery unlatching from the headgear. A plethora of tubes and cords waving around my body. I was cold- shivering at that. I felt woozy and like I'd barely taken my first breath. The room was empty, a pod to the right and left of me. Each marked A and C. I was marked as B. One window, although I couldn't see the other side of the glass- it was a one-way. I felt the churning of my stomach- knowing someone or something could be staring at me from the other side. I slowly got out of the pod, just barely making my way to the only door. To my surprise, it was unlocked. Opening it, with my robes, my hair had been removed, most likely it had aged off of me- "maybe", I asked myself. As I walked through the doors-
An alarm bell, it was monday- January 20th, 2050. I could smell mom's cooking...
But these weren't my memories- these were his memories... THESE WERE THE OTHER ONES MEMORIES- Maybe I was sent here to destroy...him...
-The Narrator-
In this tale, the reality of two individuals- shall be shattered. And morphed into one, but also separate realities. For, both have one shared life, in different times. The one you heard from just now, his intentions are impure- the one you are soon to meet. Well, I'll let you find that one out for yourself.
Sit back, but don't get too cozy- anything could happen *whink*
ACT I: Reboot
Yuki Altered, born under the famous 'Yuriah AlterBreak', the first hero of Cyber-War. Age 15, 5'10- 143lbs. Long black hair, green eyes, he wore all black. A baggy hoodie and joggers with cuts in them. He wore high-top skater shoes. His backpack had a skull on it with a few words in cursive underneath- "Forget yourself". The young lad had been going through one of his annual phases- as a teenager he'd be experiencing a lot of those.
He was smart but very introverted, his interests had been anime and video-games. He didn't give girls much attention (he was unbelievably afraid to talk to a girl). His room was normal, nothing out of the ordinary, a few accessories like his guitar and his gaming setup. A spot in the corner of the room sat empty- waiting for a drumset that would eventually make its way in.
This had been the life of a normal teenage boy, he had been physically active despite keeping to himself. He did a morning workout and a workout after school. Usually just before dinner was ready. In the morning he'd focus entirely on core exercises. Later in the day he'd shuffle between cardio and tri-ceps every few days. With the exception of two rest days every week.
"Ah, whats up now-? I swear I ate and drank enough today, I'm not stressed. I'm calm and feel great usually, so why can't I shake these headaches?"...
The headaches had never been explained. They would randomly appear, but only for the past few months. 6 months 19 days 8 hours- 31 minutes & 23 seconds. 24-25-26...
In that regard, the other half had shared a similar experience- But that is for later on.
The Reboot Arc | 1-10 | ACT I Reboot
Yuki's mother: Yuki, dinner is ready- come eat. Alice refuses to eat until you've taken a bite of yours.
Alice was Yuki's younger sister, she was 7. And looked up to Yuki, he's spent plenty of time with his sister. Knowing how it had felt to be forgotten and disregarded- since he'd never had a good relationship with his father.
Alice: Yuki, eat- or I'll starve myself, hmph.
Yuki: Okay, okay- I'll eat. Just don't starve yourself- goodness.
Yuki began to eat his food, first he mixed his mashed potatoes and corn. Took a bite- and then had cut a piece of his steak. Lathered a bit of steak sauce and took a bite.
Yuki: Mmmm, this is delicious mom (he said with a mouthful).
Alice: You could say that again.
Yuki's mother: Thank you kids, but remember. You're father is the reason I can make these meals.
The table went quiet- Alice looked over at Yuki, his head was down. In the matter of seconds he'd pushed his food to the center of the table, removed himself from the dining room chair, and walked out up towards his room. Yuki had no remorse or pleasant thoughts towards his father. All he'd known was that his dad chose fame over raising his son- that's what Yuki had felt truly.
Fracture: St-O..p-
-STOP THINKING ABOUT THAT, YOU'LL HURT ME TOO.
Yuki jumped out of bed as a glitch in reality spoke to him. Almost with his voice, slightly more mature, and glitchy- a slight echo an repetition of words flickering.
Yuki: Wh-what is this? I've gotta be dreaming right? I'm dreaming right-...?
Yuki fell to his bed, he looked over- it was 11am. It was now saturday-
