In the aftermath of Horyu's victory at the Chunin Exams, the arena was awash with a mix of shock, awe, and respect. His classmates from the academy, who had observed the entire event, were visibly stunned by the sheer display of skill and strategy that Horyu had demonstrated. Among them, Sasuke Uchiha's reaction was particularly noteworthy. His face, usually an unreadable mask, betrayed a whirlwind of emotions. His fists were clenched tightly, a physical manifestation of the storm brewing within. His eyes, sharp and focused, were locked onto Horyu, filled with a mixture of envy, frustration, and a burning desire to surpass him. In Sasuke's mind, the victory should have been his; he couldn't fathom how Horyu, whom he considered a weakling, had managed to outshine everyone.

Horyu, for his part, remained largely indifferent to Sasuke's visible distress. His attention was elsewhere, as he walked over to join his teammates Hinata and Shino. Hinata's reaction was the polar opposite of Sasuke's. She leaped forward, wrapping Horyu in a warm, enthusiastic hug, her face beaming with pride and happiness. Her mentor's victory was also hers in many ways, a testament to their shared journey and growth. Following Hinata's lead, Kurenai, their sensei, also joined in with a more modest hug, her eyes reflecting pride and satisfaction.

Shino, ever reserved, chose a more subdued approach, opting for a simple pat on Horyu's shoulder. This gesture, though minimal, carried a weight of respect and camaraderie that had been forged through countless hours of training and battles.

Ino Yamanaka approached with a bright smile, her demeanor lively and cheerful as she gave Horyu a congratulatory hug. Her presence added a light-hearted touch to the moment, a contrast to the intense battles that had just concluded.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, Hanabi Hyuga, Hinata's younger sister, came skipping towards the group. "I knew you could win, Horyu!" she exclaimed with youthful enthusiasm. Her admiration for Horyu was evident, not just as Hinata's teammate but also as someone who had witnessed his talent during their joint training sessions. Hanabi's presence was a reminder of the younger generation looking up to these newly minted heroes.

As the audience began to file out of the arena, Kurenai announced a team celebration. "Let's celebrate. Barbecue from me!" she declared, her voice filled with cheer. This announcement was met with excited chatter and smiles from the team. The idea of a relaxed evening after the day's adrenaline-fueled battles was appealing to everyone.

The group made their way out of the arena, the air filled with casual banter and laughter. Horyu walked alongside his teammates, his expression calm but a faint smile playing on his lips. The victory was sweet, but for him, it was also a stepping stone

As Horyu walked away from the arena with Kurenai, Hinata, Hanabi, Shino, Ino, his victory fresh and the cheers still echoing in his ears, a sense of dissatisfaction lingered within him. He showed too much talent, which wasn't a good thing. His initial plan was to show only a little even if it meant losing, but when Shisui forced them to a corner by turning this into a demonstration of the village's power, he had no choice but to do his best. Although there were still some abilities he kept hidden, he wasn't happy with how things unfolded.

'At least the village will invest in me more now,' he thought pragmatically, a slight frown marring his usually impassive face. This wasn't an empty thought, it was due to a system notification flaring in front of him, interrupting his line of thought.

[World Quest: Path of Shisui, Quest 3: Shadow Whisperer (Completed)]

Objective: Discreetly manipulate a political figure in Konoha to favor the Uchiha Clan's interests.

Reward: Trust of the Uchiha (A title that grants Horyu increased influence among the Uchiha and within Konoha), +1500 XP, +150 AP.

Horyu let the information sink in. The title 'Trust of the Uchiha' was more than just words; it was a testament to his cunning and strategic maneuvering within the clan and the village. With this new title, his words would carry more weight among his clan members, and his influence within Konoha would undoubtedly expand. This was a significant step in his intricate game of power and survival.

He was yet to complete the first two quests of the Path of Shisui, but now the third Quest was completed. Before Horyu could think further, another system message flared in front of him.

[Path of Independence, Quest 2: Mark of Power (Completed)

Objective: Demonstrate your strength and potential by achieving a significant victory that marks the birth of your own faction.

Reward: Faction Emblem (This item marks the birth of your own faction, boosting your influence and allowing you to recruit more followers), +1000 XP, +100 AP.}

Horyu looked at the notification and sighed. The second quest of the Path of Independence of World Quest also was completed. He looked at the reward and read the details of the emblem.

[Faction Emblem: "Crest of the Hidden Dragon"

Horyu contemplated the emblem's design and effects. The symbol of a dragon coiled around a sword was apt for his style – it signified not just strength and agility but also a hint of mystery and intelligence. 'The Hidden Dragon' - the name resonated with his approach and objectives.

He pocketed the emblem thoughtfully, aware that this marked a significant turning point in his journey. Now, he wasn't just a lone player in the grand scheme of things; he was a leader, a founder of his own path. The responsibilities and opportunities that came with it were immense.

Walking into the barbecue place, Horyu and his teammates found a comfortable spot to sit. The atmosphere was relaxed, a stark contrast to the intense energy of the Chunin Exams. The aroma of grilled meat filled the air, creating a sense of coziness and camaraderie among the group.

Hinata, her spirits high from the day's events, was the first to start a conversation. "That was an incredible match, Horyu," she said with a smile, her admiration for his skills evident in her tone.

Horyu, maintaining his usual cool demeanor, nodded in acknowledgment. "Thanks, Hinata. You were pretty impressive yourself," he replied, his voice carrying a hint of respect for her growing abilities.

Shino, ever analytical, chimed in. "Your use of genjutsu and fire techniques was truly a spectacle. It's clear you've been working on diversifying your skills."

Kurenai added with a beaming smile, "I'm proud of all of you. Today's performance was a testament to your hard work and dedication."

The waiter arrived with their orders, and the table was soon filled with various grilled meats, vegetables, and bowls of steaming rice. As they began to eat, the conversation flowed naturally, ranging from the day's battles to future aspirations.

Ino, who had joined them for the celebration, spoke up with her usual enthusiasm. "You know, Horyu, after today, everyone's going to be talking about you. You've really put the Uchiha name in the spotlight."

Horyu, slicing through a piece of meat, replied nonchalantly, "Let them talk. I'm just doing what needs to be done."

Hinata, picking up on Horyu's tone, quickly changed the subject. "The exams showed us how much more we need to grow. I've been thinking about new training methods."

Shino, intrigued, leaned in. "That's a good point. Adapting our training to our evolving skills is crucial. Our peers have amazing abilities. We cannot slack."

Kurenai nodded in agreement. "Indeed. We'll need to plan a more rigorous training schedule. The challenges ahead will only get tougher."

As they ate, Hanabi recounted her favorite moments from the exams. Her eyes shone with admiration as she looked at Horyu and Hinata. "You both were so cool! I can't wait to tell everyone at the Hyuga house."

The group laughed, enjoying the light-hearted banter. The mood was a mix of relief and satisfaction, a well-deserved break after the grueling exams.
