(Arrival of Two Great Sects)
The grand testing hall, already buzzing with excitement, suddenly fell into an eerie silence as a group of five figures strode in through the entrance.
They were clad in black robes adorned with golden linings, exuding an air of supreme authority. At the center of the group stood a young man with a puffed chest and an aura of absolute arrogance. Unlike the others, the golden linings on his robe did not adorn the sleeves but instead formed a symbolic pattern across his chest—a mark that made Xian Xi's eyes flicker in surprise.

Xian Xi had never seen one before.
Supreme Core Disciples were not only immensely talented, but they rarely left their cultivation chambers, spending years honing their abilities in seclusion. The fact that one had appeared here today, in Little Blue City of all places, meant only one thing—this event had drawn the attention of the great sects.
And more importantly…
He was from the Golden Sect.
The Golden Sect was one of the top three sects in the Great Shin Dynasty, wielding immense power and influence over countless regions. Seeing their disciples here today threw the entire crowd into an uproar!
"Oh my god! Are those disciples from the Golden Sect?!"
"They look so formidable!"
"The guy in the center… he must be a Supreme Core Disciple!"
"I wish they'd choose me!"

At that last statement, the murmuring crowd instinctively turned to glance at Xian Xi and Jean Si.
Xian Xi smirked but remained silent, while Jean Si, standing beside him, muttered in awe, "This is completely unexpected… for the Golden Sect to come to such a small city…"
Before long, the five disciples were escorted to their seats—placed above even the clan elders', a clear indication of their higher status.
Just as the initial excitement settled, a new commotion erupted.
Three figures, draped in graceful flowing robes, glided into the hall, their arrival accompanied by an enchanting fragrance that swept through the air, leaving many feeling dazed by their ethereal presence.
"It's the True Maiden Sect!" someone finally exclaimed, and the entire hall exploded with noise.
"They must be here for Jean Si!"
"So unfair! Xian Xi is going to be a Golden Sect disciple while Jean Si is destined for the True Maiden Sect!"

The three veiled women walked in elegantly, their faces hidden behind mystical face veils, a well-known tradition of the True Maiden Sect—no outsider was allowed to gaze upon their faces.

As the noise settled, an elderly man stepped onto the podium, his commanding presence silencing the hall.

As for Jean Si, she came from the Second Region, where her clan also held the top position.
