Standing not far away was Xi Xian's cousin, Mark Xi, along with his younger brother, Lu Xi. Mark Xi was the eldest in the entire Xi clan. His father, Xi Xian's uncle, was the chief head of the Xi clan after Xi Xian's grandfather died.
Xi Xian's father, Ken Xi, was the third-born of the clan and also the least powerful in the clan. Basically, everyone in the Ken house had put their hope on Xi Xian and his younger sister, Xi Xuan.
Xi Xuan was a master genius compared to Xi Xian. While Xi Xian completed the energy-gathering formula at the age of 16, Xi Xuan completed it at just the age of thirteen! Ever since she turned fourteen, she entered the cultivation room and never came out up to this day.
Nobody knows when she will come out, but everyone knew she would come out with terrifying power.
However, whether she will ever come out of the cultivation room, nobody knows. So, as of now, Xi Xian is the Ken house's only hope for redemption.
Xi Xian's relationship with his cousins is like fire and water. Everyone in Little Blue City knew the hostility they bore towards each other. Since Xi Xian always stole the spotlight, Mark Xi had always been envious of Xi Xian and always had a killing intent in his eyes anytime he saw Xi Xian.
But, of course, Xi Xian was never bothered about his cousin's behavior towards him. In fact, Xi Xian never cared about what Mark Xi thought about him at all.
It seemed like the spirit entity testing was about to start as the elders started to erect the spirit entity testing platform. When a person stepped on the platform, the divine air surrounding the platform would shimmer and display the person's spirit entity.
A spirit entity could be described as the innate ability or talent of a cultivator. It is formed either during the energy gathering stage or implanted into a cultivator when they were just a baby. Cultivators mostly inherit the spirit entity of their families while others are just born a genius and have very strong and powerful spirit entities.
Spirit entities could either be in the form of beasts, skills or special abilities, some might even be of comprehension of natural laws.
The spirit entity was usually divided into different ranks, starting from the lowest, the earth spirit entity to the highest, the variant spirit entity. Those with variant spirit entities were known as absolute geniuses, one that would ascend to the Pinnacle of the world.
Then, suddenly, there was a commotion outside as a group of people stepped into the testing hall...
