[You have been detected by a Church Hunter]

[Rank: Elite Hunter]

[Survive!]

[Quest reward: ???]

[ Mission Grade : Impossible]

[ Mission rank: SSS ]

Emily was quite surprised that for the Second time the Elda Ghoul System didn't even hint at the type of reward and only survival the first time was in that bar and at the same time the conditions for completing it weren't really clear and what's that?...Mission Grade impossible.

What would happen if she was to run away. If she was knocked out that would clearly count as surviving, right? Or did it mean that the person in front of her wanted to kill her?

'It's impossible for the system to know all of that! It's just a system!'

Whatever the case, now wasn't the time to worry about that. Seeing the baton light up, Emily was in no way inclined to allow her opponent to hit her with the weapon. She had experienced being electrocuted when she was younger through an open plug, and this looked far worse.

As she had discovered during her Aerion training, one of the benefits of cancelling the Rage skill early was that the cooldown between each use would also be shortened. The downside to this was that no matter how long the skill lasted, she wouldn't get back any of her spent Energy points.

Emily tried to pull away, only to find herself unable to do anything. She could barely tug her arm before the strange adult had gripped onto it tightly with his giant hands.

'This is insane! Just how strong is this guy's grip?!' Emily thought. With the baton coming closer, she had no other choice but to use Rage again and pulled her hand once more, the sudden spike in strength surprised the Hunter, and his grip weakened for a moment.

[60/100 Energy]

Unfortunately, Emily failed to completely pull away. this time even firmer than before, completely ignoring the teenager's boost.

'Even with Rage, he is still just as strong! No, this guy might even be stronger."

At the end of the day, Church hunters hunt Supernatural for a living, and they had to have some way to combat them. At this rate Emily was suspecting that the hunters were Inhuman themselves, but what kind of hyprocary would that be.

Using Emily's struggle while still holding his umbrella with his right hand, he threw her off balance and followed up with the electrified baton. The second it touched her stomach, Emily felt her whole body tingle all over. Her white hair stood up and all the hair all over her body. No matter how hard she tried to move, while the baton touched her body none of her muscles were responding.

It was strange that the pain was quite minimal but she was unable to do anything. Although she saw the large fist coming towards her face, Emily was unable to block it. The great strength hurled her in the air, skidding her across the ground, and for what felt like a moment she could tell her nose was broken.

[You have been inflicted with a grave injury]

[-47 HP]

[53/100 HP]

[Would you like to activate emergency healing?]

[If you wish, you can set a limit as to when emergency healing will be activated.]

However, in this situation Emily didn't have a high amount of Energy points to use, at the same time, she didn't really need her nose to help her fight.

You clearly have abnormal strength for your size, so what are you waiting for? Why don't you transform?" The Hunter asked.

Wiping away the blood trickling down her nose, Emily got up again. She wasn't sure if she could win this fight or not, but she was pissed. Beyond pissed that this person had interrupted her in the middle of what she had been doing.

'Trust me, if I knew how to transform I would have done it by now and ripped your freaking head off!' Emily charged in with this thought in her mind. She kept her eye on the baton. The second the man pressed the button on the bottom, it electrified up again.

'It looks like his weapon can only stay on for so long, otherwise he would have just kept the bloody thing electrified.'

Knowing this, Emily began to run in. The man confidently swung the baton towards Emily's head, this time perfectly timing his attack, but Emily had dashed forward now running at her full speed that the Rage skill gave her. Ducking down at the same time, it allowed the hit to go over her head. She then threw an overhead punch as hard as she could towards the man's face.

Impressive, you fooled me into thinking that you were using your full speed the whole time. It's just too bad that you weren't the only one who held back." The man said, as he lifted up his arm blocking the incoming punch.

As it hit, Emily felt something hard, far harder than bone, and her knuckles were sore.

[ -13Hp ]

'Damn it, is he wearing armour underneath his clothes or something? Goddamnit, of course he is! How could a Hunter work without that type of stuff?'

Jumping back, Emily was observing the situation. She was getting low on Health and Energy, yet her opponent still seemed fine, not even hurt. Xander appeared to be barely conscious rolling about on the ground, while the abandoned blue whalers gang member seemed to be regaining consciousness, getting up on his feet.

Right now, Emily was sure that there was nothing she could do against the Hunter. She didn't like it, but she had to run. Turning away, Emily started to sprint as fast as she could. Slightly regretting not having put any points into Dexterity, she was praying that the Energy she still had would allow her to escape.

He stared at Emily as she fled if he wanted to he could close that distance in a moment, he didn't even use church energy but basic hunter weapon or worse still his blade_ Red umbrella. He had watched the scene between Emily and the gang members even though he hate to admit it she earned his merit.

Turning around though, it looked like the Hunter hadn't bothered to chase after her. Nevertheless, Emily didn't stop running, not even after she received a notification.

[Quest failed]

Eventually, Emily stopped by the convenience store. Although she had already completed her Daily Quest, she was in dire need of replenishing her Energy. She was already feeling hunger pangs the closer she came to reaching 0 Energy.

Emily practically gobbled up the meat in an alley. She used some of that Energy to restore her broken nose before continuing on her way. Emily made sure to go through some alleys and only returned home, once she was absolutely sure that she wasn't followed.

Her mother had already arrived but Emily played everything cool with her family. Judging by the fact, she hadn't immediately given her a lecture, it appeared that Salle had kept her word. After spending some time with the two of them, Emily headed back to her room, her head and whole body were shaking as she sat down on the bed.

'That…that was so freaking dangerous! If that Hunter had caught me… Damn it!' Emily wanted to punch something in her frustration.

Above all, she was most upset that she had been unable to teach Xander more of a lesson. Sure, the 50 Exp she had failed to earn had left a bitter aftertaste in her mouth.

Still, there was at least one piece of good news that came from the unfortunate encounter.

[Congratulations, you have managed to avoid getting captured by the 'Suspected Elite Hunter'!]
