In the middle of the night, Emily woke up in sweat once again, pulling her bed sheets off her. She was covered in sweat and immediately looked to see if her sister was okay. Apparently her sleep was so deep that she hadn't even noticed her older sister screaming right next to her. She checked the time on her comm.
'01:47 AM'
'Damn, I can't keep having these dreams. All this Ghoul stuff is causing me to have the strangest of dreams. Emily checked her system_

"It will take a while for me to level up again" Emily thought as she went to answer the call of nature. Before she made it to the toilet, however, she was distracted by a scent in the air.
It was something she had smelled before, and naturally she followed where her nose led her.
'Who could be cooking this late at night?' Emily wondered.
Strangely, the scent was closeby, yet it wasn't coming from inside their apartment, but from their front door. Opening it, Emily could soon see what it was. Right there on the doorstep, was what looked like a fresh piece of meat.
The only thing was it still had blood around it and it was lying there on the ground. Emily had seen quite a lot of raw meat recently but never had she seen something like this before. Her natural human brain was making her feel a little sick, but for some reason the smell it gave off made her hungry.
The question was, why?
Soon the system had answered that question for her.
[Human flesh discovered]
[For a growing Undead such as you, consuming human flesh is the best way to recover your Energy and who knows, it could make you stronger!]
'Why the hell is there human flesh in front of my home?! I can't even tell what part of the body that is.' Emily thought.
It was getting hard to think for her, as the smell was so tantalising she could feel the saliva already dripping down her chin. Emily went to pinch her nose, which she thought will actually help her more than she had anticipated but her right hand was already in her mouth.

What does all this mean?. Emily thought
Emily remembered the last notification she received:
[Deathstake(Ritual) Successful]
[An Undead has been created]
[ Cursed Omega Werewolf ]
'Werewolf?'
'Deathstake?'
She concentrated on Deathstake and the description.
[ Death stake ( ritual ) Description ›› Take out the heart and see the light death brings and split thy throat in sacrifice ]
'Ritual Successful'
'That means I did a ritual.. how? ... That werewolf in the underground arena. I stabbed his heart and I.. I.. split his throat.'
why would he leave me a present? Then… could this be some sort of war declaration?' Emily thought.
'You damn wolf, you came right to my family's doorstep! I don't know how you did it, but that crosses the line!.
***************
when waking up Sunday noon, She hadn't forgotten about what had occurred in the middle of the night. Although Emily didn't exactly know what that piece of flesh in front of her house was supposed to mean to her it was tantamount to a war declaration.
The Wolf knew where she and her family lived. This time he might have brought her a 'present', but who's to say that next time he won't turn Emily's family members into such a piece of meat. She had to find Dire fang and deal with him.
Luckily, it was Sunday, giving Emily the whole day to at least find some clues on the other's whereabouts. During the week it would be far more difficult.
'First things first,' Emily checked every tab her System had, in case she might have missed anything.
'I can't find anything in this system that would help me. Maybe he managed to track my scent somehow?' Emily thought in frustration after going through everything twice. However, the werewolf had somehow been able to track where she was, so in theory Emily should be able to do the same.
"I'm going over to meet Stacy, I'll be back by dinner!" Salle shouted, and the door quickly closed behind her.
Hearing this, Emily's heart started to beat faster.
'Shit, Dire fang was here at night, so could he have picked up Salle's scent? What if the human flesh was his message to me that he intended to go after my family?! She said she would be back by dinner, and it's not too far to Stacy's, she's also traveling during the day.'
With the system not helping her, Emily decided to text someone who had been a big help earlier, hoping that he might have any useful information.
[STOP LOOKING FOR DIRE FANG!] Daniel replied back almost immediately.
[You might feel responsible for him since you killed him and he was Midnight Maiden's debut opponent, but to Dire fang it was just another day. Heck, he lost against three other schmooks before you, one of them even beat him three times.]
[If you go searching after Dire fang you won't find anything, the underground arena had wiped his record clean and they don't provide personal information about their fighters!]
[ STOP LOOKING FOR A DEAD MAN!]
Alas, Daniel proved to be far less helpful than he had been the previous time.
With no better solution, Emily decided to turn on the TV, in hopes there might be an update on the situation. It didn't take long for her wish to be granted.
"This just in, this morning yet another murder victim has been found in an apartment in the area of Ashland, and Chief of Police, Mayton stones has shared more information about it. He confirmed that the modus operandi coincides with the murder of the community worker. Following the act of murder more information will not be shared."
"So far, police have found no connection between the community worker and the dead high schooler. There has also been no news in regards to the killer or the kller's whereabouts."
The news didn't look hopeful and worse of all Emily was wondering if Dire fang had killed again.
"Why would he even kill a high schooler? Was it just an easy target… or was there more to it?'
Thinking about the flesh, Emily was also reminded about her system message that had appeared as she had looked over it. It had told her that there was the possibility she might grow stronger through consuming flesh.
Since Dire fang was the first person she had turned, Emily had no idea what the rules were. Was she the only one who could grow stronger by eating others, or was that something all werewolves shared? Another reasonable question was whether it was a one-time thing, or if one grew stronger the more one ate of someone.
The latter possibility was far scarier. For all she knew, Dire fang might have eaten nearly three entire human bodies. Dire fang had already been unnaturally strong. The only reason why Emily had been able to match up to him was due to the Sheer luck and she can't even claim she won with her own strength, Damn! Dire fang had almost killed her.
It was at least safe to assume that he could still use that partial transformation. With that ability, as well as additional stats, would it even be possible for Emily to beat an Undead Omega wolf?
