"Zephyr-sensei, I want to get a bit more serious!"
Atlas felt a sense of relief. He took a deep breath, extended his legs, and unexpectedly floated in mid-air. His body spun rapidly, and the flames on his surface intensified. Looking up, it appeared as if there were two suns in the sky, creating a dazzling scene!
"What's Vice Admiral Atlas up to...?"
Observing Atlas enveloped in wind and fire, some new recruits couldn't resist asking questions.
"I'm not sure, but I do know that sticking around might lead to trouble!"
The other recruits didn't have time to overthink and retreated one by one. The rolling heat waves and an indescribable sense of pressure overwhelmed them. Dark clouds even formed in the sky, intensifying Atlas's figure, shining brightly!
Atlas's combat abilities extend beyond the Rokushiki. Fists, palms, elbows, and knees become his lethal weapons, amplifying his physical advantages with techniques derived from those fundamental moves. Ultimately, he can almost obliterate an island with just the power of his physical skills!
"Rokushiki - Sukaimāsharukyanonbōru (Sky Martial Cannonball)!!!"
It resembled a meteor plummeting to the ground, bearing unmatched force. In an instant, a storm erupted, debris and rubble scattered, creating a scene akin to doomsday.
The recruits had wisely kept their distance. Now, they truly witnessed the meaning of strength. Despite being skilled individuals from prominent Marine Bases worldwide, they had to set aside their arrogance in this moment.
Zephyr, naturally, wasn't one to be outmatched. The Haki enveloping his body intensified, retaining its sharpness as it circulated. His muscles flexed, and excitement filled his expression. Every inch of his body seemed like a taut bow, with his fascia trembling and the air echoing with a scream!
Being a Marine immersed in the Rokushiki for a considerable time, Zephyr naturally discerned the intricacies of Atlas's techniques. The strength in his body was nearly concentrated, and when fused with expert Armament Haki, it became even more potent.
Boom! ! !
Two immense forces clashed violently, unleashing airwaves more turbulent than before. The ground rapidly fractured, and the entire Marineford appeared to be violently shaking!
Inside Sengoku's office.
Balancing documents in one hand and a steaming tea cup in the other, Sengoku finds comfort and fulfillment despite his daily busyness. At least, he's occupied with bringing his sense of justice to life.
Boom!
Suddenly, the entire office building tilted like an earth dragon, and the hot tea in his hand nearly spilled. Sengoku's expression changed dramatically, and the red gleam in his eyes vanished.
"These two individuals..."
Sengoku gritted his teeth in frustration, wondering when Zephyr became so willful. What a stroke of bad luck!
....
The sea breeze swept through, dispersing the smoke, dust, and gravel.
The center of the school ground lay in ruins. Despite the two holding back much of their strength, the profound cracks deeply wounded Shuzo's heart, who had long fled thousands of miles away.
Being Zephyr's deputy, he handles most of the financial responsibilities in the training camp. The expenses for repairing such a massive crack are enough to cause him some serious headaches for a while.
"It's quite satisfying. I haven't engaged in such a serious fight for a long time..."
Zephyr strolled out of the center of the crack, donning tattered clothes. He casually wiped away the blood trickling from the corner of his mouth. His expression was remarkably serene, and even his usually furrowed brows were entirely at ease.
Such battles between top-tier combatants are exclusive to the New World. Even the Admirals and seldom engage in large-scale conflicts easily. After all, occupying high positions limits their ability to influence things to merely moving their entire force.
Moreover, Zephyr has long been assigned to a secondary role. Apart from his early confrontations with the three legendary pirates, he primarily showcased his skills in the recruiting camp.
But...
The determination in Zephyr's eyes intensified, as if he had returned to his youth, reigniting a high level of fighting spirit.
Swish!
Zephyr's figure vanished abruptly, and a barrage of fist strikes descended upon Atlas like raindrops. The assault resembled a whirlwind of wind and rain, making it disorienting.
However, Atlas is no novice in Observation haki. He has silently assumed a stance, and his black and red fists move forward to counter. A storm surges, Haki clashes, and the force capable of shattering gold and stone easily finds release against each other.
"Hahaha! Such joy! Such joy!"
Despite his numbed arms, Zephyr's assault didn't cease; instead, it intensified with even more fierceness and dominance.
"We can't continue like this. It's futile. How about we call it quits here, Zephyr-sensei?"
Atlas responded with a wry smile while contending with Zephyr's relentless barrage of fists.
The covert attack moments ago nearly devastated the entire recruit camp. If he hadn't employed the potency of the rooster talisman to dampen the force, Sengoku would have swiftly come from the office to settle the score.
Even Shiki back then only wreaked havoc on most of Marineford. It would be a significant disgrace if one of our own caused the entire training camp's destruction today.
"Huh?"
Zephyr was momentarily stunned, then instinctively glanced around, swiftly snapping out of the frenzied combat state and gradually ceasing his hand movements.
"You cheeky kid... hahahaha!"
Surprisingly, the intense battle just now made him feel youthful for a long time, and he suddenly forgot his current surroundings. If the fight persisted, the entire recruiting camp might need rebuilding.
"Are you alright, Zephyr-sensei?"
Upon seeing Zephyr cease the fight, Atlas quickly approached. He had just noticed the blood at the corner of Zephyr's mouth. His Sukaimāsharukyanonbōru (Sky Martial Cannonball') was originally an Ultimate attack with Ox Talisman, combined with advanced haki techniques. Even if Kaido were to come, he likely wouldn't withstand the internal destruction skills, let alone Zephyr, who is ailing and disabled.
"Hahahaha! No worries, no worries. I've got nothing left to teach you in terms of your physical skills, young one."
Zephyr gave Atlas's sturdy shoulder a hearty pat, looking content.
"But it seems our training session with the recruits for today is pretty much ruined. You can come back again tomorrow."
Atlas smiled, then grasped Zephyr's arm, channeling the power of the horse talisman. A cool, mending energy circulated, swiftly eliminating all of Zephyr's hidden injuries and old ailments within seconds!
"…What's this!?"
Zephyr was taken aback. He suddenly sensed unprecedented relaxation in both his body and mind, and even the faint signs of an asthma attack had vanished completely.
"Just consider it my innate ability. I've cured your asthma. You won't have to worry about it in the future, Zephyr-sensei."
Atlas didn't delve into explanations. Truth be told, the last time he returned from East Blue, he intended to seek Zephyr's help for his asthma. However, coincidentally, Zephyr was away with the students on practical training during those days.
