Chapter 14 - U.A Sports Festival

*KEN'S POV*

I had decided to have my talk with Nezu and the heros at the sports festival. It would have a lot of heros, but it would also have a lot people so a fight with powerful people in a crowded place no matter how good the security is or how many heros are there it won't be a good idea. I've shown through my loadouts that we(I) won't be easily taken out and a fight with us would be costly no matter what you have.

The only problem with my plan is Eri. Ever since I had finished dealing with the nomu I had admittedly been traumatized by what I did to make them human again. She had sensed that and clung either to me or one of my clones trying to comfort us(me).

She had overheard my plans to go during the sports festival and refused to let me go alone. I had of course said no so she began to cry and bear hug my leg until I said yes. I have apparently grown attached to her.

Before it was only supposed to be me and my Senju clone in our regular outfits,(Ken, and Hashirama) but since she is coming I decided to have all my clones come just in case. I could pretect myself but with Eri there it's better to be safe than sorry.

I have been drowning my self by taking turns with each loadout. I made myself use Senju I know what I did was for the best but seeing the insides of children so young they could barely walk. Yeah it's gunna be with him for a while but sometimes doing unpleasant things can lead to a better outcome. All those kids are gunna go home now instead of being brainless monsters.

Shaking my head at the depressing thoughts I tried not to move my hand. Eri decided to do my nails for the up and coming meeting. I had to purchase five tickets to the U.A sports festival and let me say it now. TOTAL RIPOFF it was the same as plane tickets!!! How could so many people afford to go!

After the thumbs up from Eri me and my clones took off to the sports festival Eri riding on Ryu shoulders. I was wearing a medical mask, hat and sunglasses so I wouldn't be recognized. I looked shady as fuck but not recognizable.

While we waited in the line we saw a few parents that belonged to 1A. Many of them cooed at Eri and tried to talk to us. As far as they were concerned Eri was my little sister and I was wearing a mask, hat and sunglasses because my quirk made my face sensitive to light. They believed it there have been weirder quirks.

Stretching out in my stadium seat I began to wonder why I didn't just sneak in. It would have been cheaper. Maybe I could steal my money back in food, and merch. Yes I could resell the merch online and the food I could use to feed the people who are waking up. Oh Yeah it's all coming together.

*Smack*

A small fist hit my head.

Eri: "You're doing that weird laugh when you thinking about money."

Ken: "*Cough* uh sorry, so Eri are you enjoying the festival."

She gave me a small shrug and said "eh it's kinda loud and I don't see the point, but you guys are here so I am too."

We all just stared at her with blank faces, before Hashirama burst into tears and started to cry and hug her going on about being to cute. The crowd that formed around us was worrying, what If someone recognized us...me. Ryu grabbed Hashirama by his head dragging him off while I lifted Eri who had shrunk in on herself some due to the crowd.

Letting out dad noises as a squirmed in the chair getting comfortable I resigned myself to watching at first only to fall asleep midway. Eri had taken my lap as her seat, and seemed content on playing with my long white hair as she eats the candy Sozu was giving her.

Next to my group was Bakugo's parents as well as Inko Midoriya. I was going to do my bestest to ignore them, but the way they kept on looking at Eri made it clear that an unwanted conversation will happen in the future.

Ryu and Hashirama came back with food and drinks. Arguing as they walked, people tended to move out of the way of a tall redhead covered in tattoos and yelling profanities.

Ryu: "Why the Fuck are you yelling I haven't done anything yet you stupid Prick."

Hashirama: "Right there you just did it again!! Stop cursing there are kids around you troglodyte!!"

Ryu: "You're lucky I don't know what that means!!"

Sozu: "Enough both of you you're causing a scene."

Hashirama: "*sigh* I'm sorry but he's ju-"

Ryu: "Don't tell me what to do you blind fuck!"

Seeing a tick-mark appear on Sozu's head as he got to his feet getting in Ryu's face. I looked up to the sky and began to wonder.....why?

At the start of the sports festival a speech was given by the student who had first place in the entrance exam, Midoriya Izuku...I don't think that's right. Izuku gave an alright speech about your quirk not defining your ability to ba a hero. The woman two seats down from me created a small river of tears as the speech went on.

After an overly dramatic spinning of a wheel the first challenge was an obstacle race. It honestly wasn't that bad between Midoriya, Bakugo, and Todoroki it was a pretty good race. Todoroki was able to keep the lead for most of the time using his fire to propel him forward. It was only a close second with Midoriya and Bakugo they had speed but not Todoroki's maneuverability. Midoriya was stuck to the ground and Bakugo could move on the air in short bursts. That ultimately got Todoroki first and the last jump that shattered the ground got Midoriya second.

The next challenge was capture the flag. Teams were made and each flag had a different value based on who was on the team and where they placed in the race. Needless to say Todoroki and his team had a huge target on their back. Leading the charge twards him was Bakugo's team. It seems Midoriya had taken to fighting other teams and twards the end made a go at Bakugo's flag.

That fight was pretty interesting. Bakugo had range, instincts, and a fighting style that knew how to use both to his advantage. Midoriya didn't have as good as range as his opponent and his instincts weren't as sharp, however he more than made up for it with skills that were earned over years of hard work, and an analytical mind that can pick apart his opponents.

There fight was getting to the climax but the timer for the capture the flag event rang. Many in the stands were hiped up both heros and citizens alike. The blonde mother next to me was shouting at the top of her lungs half of which I couldn't recognize. The other mother with green hair was crying out of joy or worry I couldn't tell, just that my shoes were now wet. And with the end of the second round a 30min break was given for students to recover and guests to use the restroom and get food.

Mitsuki: "Hey kid is that your sister?"

I had dozed off some so the sudden question took me by surprise, and thus my only response was

Ken: "Eh"

Mitsuki: "That girl she your sister. That's what you told the people at the entrance." The subtle accusation in her voice made it clear that she didn't completely buy our cover story.

Ken: "Yeah she's my sister."

An awkward silence.

Mitsuki: "Where are you're parents?" It was more of a demand than a question. A demand that I had no plan's on giving in to.

She just glared at me while to her side Inko began to panic, and Masaru tried to calm her down.

Mitsuki: "Well?"

Ken: "Well what?"

Mitsuki: "You and your friends are covered in tatoos, are young but seem to have no parental supervision, and you in particular have gone out of your way to cover your face. Why?"

I could see where she was coming from and even appreciated it. I'm suspicious as fuck and have a child with no adult in sight. I could respect her courage to confront me about it. For all she know I could be a villan or something, but here she was facing me head on.

On the other hand...what the fuck man I'm just trynta have a good time before I have to talk with the heros. It's not like I've been intimidating Eri or others around me. Taking a deep breath I decided to answer.

Ken: "It's a long story but the gist of it revolves around it being none of your fucking business." Turning away I decided not to give this conversation much more attention. I did however keep them on my peripherals, and my God she is Katsuki's mom she was like a wild animal. In her mad rush to get to me I made eye contact with Masaru. He saw my eye and a little of the tattoo surrounding it.

Ronin was well known especially because he could and would take out heros. It didn't take long for the word to get out that a boy named Ken was Ronin. He was the only one of the brotherhood who's name was known. Due to this his appearance has been made public, sketches, old photos he had no idea someone took. His appearance became the face of the brotherhood.

When Ken met eyes with Masaru he saw the man visibly pale as understanding dawned on him. He grabbed his wife and put her behind him. She looked like she was going to blow up at him but one stern look took the wind out of her sails. Turning back to him he gave a bow.

Masaru: "Please forgive us we didn't mean to cause you any problems."

Giving a dismissive wave. I continued "Don't worry about it, I don't appreciate being questioned but I do understand I'm not exactly the image of trustworthiness and can even appreciate your willingness to speak your mind on the matter."

Giving me a stiff nod he then dragged both mothers away. Looking up I thought about leaving or changing my appearance. The second was to late to happen and even if I could it would show to much of my abilities. I had no doubt that they would look for how I got in and seeing me suddenly change appearance would let them know either my ability is not what it seems or there is another. I'm to lazy to make another loadout that could fit this criteria.

Making up my mind I decided that the best course of action is to the difference between Jack and shit. I am here to talk with the heros and if they learn of me being here and show hostility then there is no need to talk. They reached out an olive branch getting their cooperation will make things far easier for me...but ultimately unnecessary.

*MASARU POV*

That eye and tattoo he would recognize it anywhere. How could he not it's been allover the news. Ronin was one of the most well known vigilantes. He and the brotherhood are both feared and respected. Feared for their brutality and respected for the people they have saved.

Masaru thought if he ever found a member of the brotherhood it would be if he was in trouble, not at the U.A sports festival. Now that he thought about it the other boys that he was with somewhat resembled the descriptions of the other members of the brotherhood tall redhead? Brunette with a tatoo of a caduceus on his hands, and the last one blind...that's all that he knows about Hawkeye.

The one with sunglasses, hat and a medical mask was without a doubt Ronin, and by the little knowledge known about them the rest were probably Hawkeye, Senju, and Beast....and his wife just confronted them and even tried to attack one of them.

His wife and Inko had followed him as he all but dragged them away from the dangerous teen. He could feel her burning gaze at the back of her head. Once they were somewhere more isolated he could tell her. Stopping once they found an empty hallway he turned to his wife and her friend only to he interrupted by a furious Mitsuki.

Mitsuki: "What the fuck are you doing? That brat and his friend look like some kind of thugs and you aren't going to do anything? What if they kidnapped that little girl?!?"

Inko: "c-calm down M-Mitsuki I'm sure i-its not like that. And E-even if it was there are h-heros everywhere."

Mitsuki looked like she was going to shout out something when Masaru spoke up. "No." It wasn't yelled but it shut his wife up and made the fidgeting Inko look at him.

Masaru: "They aren't just some delinquent brats. I think they are the brotherhood and the one you were questioning was Ronin."

Silence

Mitsuki: "BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Yeah right so your telling me that hahaha the brat with the mask and glasses is one of the brotherhood? Hahaha ha even if he was one of them what kind of dumbass goes to a place full of heros?"

She didn't understand. The people who regularly put heros into hospitals are seated next to them, and his wife had confronted one of them. They had no reason to be afraid of people that they could beat, and for the most part the only one that knew they were here were him, his wife and her friend.

Grabbing Mitsuki by her shoulders he made her look at him. "I saw his eye, I saw his tattoo it was Ronin." They looked at each other for a while.

Mitsuki: "You're serious." Giving her a firm nod he continued. "I don't know why they are here but, they are dangerous and have taken out several heros in the past so I doubt they are afraid of them."

Inko: " That little girl?"

Masaru: "I don't know, maybe someone they saved or maybe she really is his sister. All I know is that the kid is Ronin and his companions are more likely than not the other members."

Mitsuki and Inko stood silent digesting the information. He was about to continue when a new voice entered the conversation. A voice he only recently heard.

Unknown: "I'm glad you came not only to the realization of who you are dealing with but also how dangerous we are. It makes this simpler."

They all turned to the new comer. A teen with a crew cut and blind fold covering his eyes and what previously looked like a walking stick now with a closer inspection appeared to be a bo-staff.

Sozu: "I mean you no harm just wanted to see what you know, and what you'll do about it. Now let's talk."
